BET Awards 2025 Performers Lineup

The BET Awards 2025 kicks off on Monday, June 9, at 8 p.m. ET, and the ceremony will be held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Dubbed “Culture’s Biggest Night,” the award show is a celebration of Black artists and entertainers. It is already shaping up to be a memorable evening, packed with performances from some of the industry’s biggest stars. Who will take to the stage this evening? This is everything you need to know.

Who Will Be Performing at the BET Awards 2025?

Kevin Hart will host the show, bringing his signature brand of humor to the evening. This will be the second time he takes to the stage as a host for the BET Awards. To help Hart make the ceremony a memorable experience, a long list of performers has been assembled.

Some of the highlights of the evening include performances by music industry greats such as Teyana Taylor, Ashanti, Lil Wayne, GloRilla, Playboi Carti, Leon Thomas, Keyshia Cole, Ledisi, and Lil’ Kim. These stars will be joined by 803Fresh, GELO, Honey Bxby, Jordan Adetunji, LAILA!, Larry June, Mario, Shop Boyz, The Alchemist, Ying Yang Twins, Bow Wow, and Amerie. In addition, there will be performances from Moliy, Rob49, Spice, Trillian, Ravyn Lenae, Elmiene, B2K, T.I., Mya, and Jim Jones.

What Else Can Audiences Expect From the BET Awards 2025?

There are plenty of honors to get through at the BET Awards 2025, and the award categories include Best Actress, Best New Artist, Movie of the Year, Sportswoman of the Year, Best Album, Album of the Year, and Album of the Year.

This year, Kendrick Lamar leads the nominations with 10. Following him are Doechii, Drake, Future, and GloRilla with six nominations each. There is stiff competition after a successful year. Could Shaboozey take home Video of the Year for his hugely successful hit, “A Bar Song (Tispy)?” Will Cynthia Erivo walk away with Best Actress for her performance in “Wicked?”

There will also be four celebrities, Snoop Dogg, Mariah Carey, Jamie Foxx, and Kirk Franklin, to receive a BET Ultimate Icon Award to honor their decades of success in the industry.
