It’s official. MTV’s “The Challenge” has been renewed for season 41, making it one of the longest-running reality shows on television. Many fans weren’t even born when the series debuted back in 1998 as “Road Rules: All Stars” (when the current US Secretary of Transportation was a contestant).
Originally featuring a cast of MTV reality stars from “The Real World” and “Road Rules,” “The Challenge” now has a cast of known reality stars from around the globe. And in season 41, fans will get the chance to see both veterans and newcomers. Here’s what we know about “The Challenge” season 41.
‘The Challenge’ Season 41 Has a Tentative Title
According to a Vevmo spoiler thread, the tentative title of “The Challenge” season 41 is “New Threats and Vets.” The competition reportedly takes place in Santiago De Chile, Chile, with the house located in Lo Curro, Vitacura, Chile. The reality competition will once again be hosted by TJ Lavin.
Rumor has it that filming began in February 2025. Unlike season 40, where every competitor was a veteran of “The Challenge,” this time around, the cast will feature both veterans and newbies. MTV has not made an official cast announcement. But thanks to social media activity and spotting, we’ve got a pretty good idea of who will be competing in season 41.
Filming Has Already Wrapped on ‘New Threats and Vets’
Three cast members have been confirmed for season 41. Long-time competitors Aneesa Ferreira, Leroy Garrett, and CT Tamburello will be three of the 17 vets competing for the prize money. There will also be 16 “new threats” in the cast. Which brings the total number of competitors to 33 (one veteran is replaced early in the season).
Veterans will team up with rookies, with the pairs changing for each daily challenge. However, they will never be paired with the same person twice.
The thread also claims that the entire season has already been filmed. Before MTV confirmed season 41 was happening, spoilers about the final four and the winners were leaked online.
Who Will Be In the ‘The Challenge’ Season 41 Cast?
The vets joining Ferreira, Garrett, and Tamburello in the upcoming season include: Ashley Mitchell, Aviv Bruno, Cara Maria Sorbello, Jonna Mannion (added to the cast as a replacement), Michaela Bradshaw, Nia Moore, Noemi “Nany” Gonzalez, Olivia Kasser, Derek Chavez, Derrick Kosinski, John “Johnny Bananas” Devenanzio, Rogan O’Connor, Theo Campbell, and Turabi “Turbo” Camkiran.
The “new threats” in the season 41 cast are rumored to be:
- Adrienne Naylor (“Married At first Sight” UK)
- America Lopez (“Big Brother”)
