Kristin Cavallari Previously Swore Off Reality TV & Hinted at Plans to Leave the Spotlight

Cavallari has talked about leaving her reality TV fame in the past now that she is a mom and businesswoman. In a statement shared with Us Weekly, the Uncommon James founder admitted that she previously vowed she would “not go back to reality TV 5,000 times.”
“This is different,” Cavallari explained of her new show. “This is not just a show about my personal life. I’m not dating on the show. It’s not trying to come up with drama for storylines. It’s truly a docuseries in the best sense of the word.”
It was less than a year ago, in a July 2024 interview with Bustle, that Cavallari stated she didn’t want to be famous anymore. “My celebrity could go away tomorrow, and I would be really happy,” she shared. “I want to work for two or three more years and literally be done and then open up a coffee shop in a little beach town just for fun.”
She added that she planned to leave fame behind once her kids were older. “I’m not going to be in Hollywood,” she said. “I’ll be done. I have a set amount of money in my mind, and then I’m done working. I just want to live a chill life. I’ve been grinding since I was 17, and I’m tired.”
