“The Challenge” star Nany González isn’t staying silent after a fan accused her of cheating on longtime love Kaycee Clark—which the fan alleged was the reason behind their shocking split. Now González is setting the record straight on those infidelity rumors and where the former couple stands today.
Nany González Denies She Cheated While Competing on The Challenge: All Stars 5
Just a few weeks after González and Clark announced their split, González fired back at rumors that she had cheated on her fiancee while filming “The Challenge: All Stars: Rivals.”
It all started when a fan asked González in the comments section, “Where are all your pictures? Did you guys break up?” Another fan commented suggesting that González had cheated on Clark with Melissa Reeves while filming the season that is currently airing. Writing, “There’s speculation that she cheated while on “All Stars.” People are thinking with Melissa. Makes the most sense.”
González highlighted the comment in bright pink and shared it to her Instagram stories calling the speculation “sad.”
“Hey, so this is honestly so sad,” González wrote. Adding, I know I don’t owe anyone any sort of explanation, but not only is this comment absolutely false, but it’s also disappointing that someone would stoop this low to make such a claim.”
“Kaycee and I still have so much love for each other and it is truly SO sad to see the amount of people who absolutely prey on the downfall of others.”
“I will continue to live my life, unapologetically, while you continue to speculate. Just don’t be such an a******. Thanks,” she concluded.
Nany González Filmed ‘The Challenge: All Stars 5’ With Melissa Reeves Ahead of Her Split with Kaycee Clark
González had already wrapped filming on “All Stars 5” where she filmed with Reeves, before she announced in late January that she and Clark were going their separate ways.
“After a lot of reflection, Kaycee and I have decided to go our separate ways,” González wrote on her Instagram Stories. This definitely wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s what’s best for the both of us.”
The post continued, “Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way—we’re both moving forward with love and kindness in our hearts & we ask that you respect our need for privacy at this time. Love, Nany & Kaycee.”
While González absolutely denies anything happened with Reeves while filming the most current season, she and Reeves had gotten close in a previous season.
While filming “Total Madness,” Entertainment Weekly reported that in unseen footage, González and Reeves started making out after a game of truth or dare. They also made out at the bar, and Melissa crowned Nany the best kisser that season.
That may not have been the only hookup for González that season. During the reunion, her castmate, Josh Martinez, joked that she got more girls than any of the guys that season. Leading González to joke that the baby Reeves was carrying at the time was hers.
Nany González Is Determined to Finally Win ‘The Challenge’
González headed into filming “All Stars 5” with 14 seasons and four finale appearances, but the top prize has always alluded her.
Even though her previous fling is part of this season of “The Challenge,” González told E! News that she was completely focused on this season and considered it a “business trip.”
Of course, with this season being “Rivals,” that means in order to take home the $300,000 prize, she will have to handle being paired up with Turabi “Turbo” Çamkiran.
“We’ve been partners in the past, and I know we work well together. That’s not the issue. The issue is Turbo’s ability to remain calm in the house and in the game.”
“I just had to put my pride to the side,” González explained. “I showed up to play a game and to win. And so when I realized he was my partner, I was like, ‘Okay, I know that we work well together when it comes down to competition.’ Really the only thing that I was concerned about was the two of us just getting along and being able to stay together as a team the entire season.”
Fans can watch González try to contain Turbo when new episodes of “The Challenge: All Stars Rivals” air Wednesday nights on MTV.
