After more than a decade away from the game, “The Challenge” legend Coral Smith might be gearing up for a comeback. Mark Long, the mastermind behind “The Challenge: All Stars,” has been rallying support for her return, and the buzz is growing louder. Fans of the iconic competitor, known for her sharp wit and fierce gameplay, are making it clear — they want her back.
‘The Challenge’ Legend Breaks Her Silence on a Possible Return
In a surprise video posted to Mark Long’s X (formerly Twitter) account, Coral addressed the speculation herself. “Hey guys, it’s Coral. So, I was minding my own business and I got this phone call from the one and only Mark Long. We start shootin’ the (expletive), and then he says something about All Stars. And I’m like, ‘All Stars? Who would want to see me on All Stars? Anyone?’”
Long followed up with a post encouraging fans to engage. “Coral said if we get enough LIKES/COMMENTS/RETWEETS she’ll try to make it happen,” he wrote, adding, “Who wants to see #CORAL on #TheChallengeAllStars6 ???”
Judging by the flood of fan reactions, the answer is a resounding yes.
Mark Long Won’t Stop Pushing for Coral Smith’s Comeback

Long has made it clear that he’s determined to bring Coral back to the franchise. “I’ve had conversations with Coral,” Long told Us Weekly in January. “She knows All Stars exists—trust me.”
Smith, now 46, originally made her mark on reality TV with “The Real World: Back to New York” in 2001 before becoming one of “The Challenge’s” most iconic competitors. She won Battle of the Seasons in 2002 and became a four-time finalist. However, her last appearance on the show was in 2008 on The Gauntlet III. Since then, she has stepped away from reality TV and built a successful career as a doula.
“She’s thriving in her life and she’s amazing,” Mark explained. “She left us with such a bang, and I think she’s a little concerned that if she came back, she wouldn’t be that character. I don’t think [the fans] would think less of her. They would just be, like, ‘Oh, she’s grown. She’s not Coral of the ‘90s or early 2000s anymore,’ which I think is fantastic.”
Fans & Fellow Challengers Are Ready for Smith’s Return
Longtime fans and fellow Challenge competitors wasted no time making their voices heard. Current star Da’Vonne Dianne took to social media to celebrate, reminding everyone that she’s been pushing for Smith’s return.
“Y’all remember in January when we had Mark on The Challenge Podcast and I told him to get Coral on the phone… STAT??? MY GIRL IS COMING!!!!”
Fans flooded social media with posts reminiscing about her legendary status. “If anyone needs to be informed on the impact of @ThatCoral not only on Era 1 but on The Challenge overall! Let this thread be a friendly reminder why she is NEEDED on #TheChallengeAllStars6 and why she is Queen #Coral,” one user wrote.
Another added, “#Coral was a FIERCE competitor! A Challenge champion, 4x Finalist, and master strategist! #Coral is charming, witty, and a source of comedic relief!”
With the hype continuing to build, it seems like only a matter of time before Smith officially makes her Challenge comeback. Could All Stars 6 be the season that finally brings her back? Fans are watching—and waiting.
New episodes of “The Challenge: All Stars” air Wednesday nights on MTV. The flagship is currently in production on season 41.
