Get ready because 2025 is shaping up to be a massive year for “The Challenge.” With “All Stars 5” currently airing and proving to be a hit, excitement is already building for “All Stars 6,” which is, according to spoiler accounts, reportedly in pre-production.
What Should Fans Expect for ‘The Challenge: All Stars 6’?
According to GamerVev, “All Stars 6” is officially in the works. The news comes via the spoiler account, which has a strong track record when it comes to “The Challenge.” However, since production is still in its early stages, anything can change.
Gamer also expressed their desire for the show to cast actual “All Stars.”
Writing in X: “PLEASE no CBS or anyone who did the main show in the last 3 years!”
However, production has a history of doing what it wants, so nothing is guaranteed. If past seasons are any indication, non-MTV players could still make the cut, and contestants from “The Challenge 40” or “41”—which is currently filming—should be expecting calls.
Interestingly, Gamer revealed that “The Challenge 41” was originally intended to have a “Rivals” theme before that concept was shifted to “All Stars 5.” That means the “All Stars 6” format is still up in the air, keeping fans guessing about what’s next.
Potential Themes and ‘The Challenge’ Champ Mark Long’s Dream Teams
Mark Long, aka “The Godfather,” has been synonymous with “The Challenge” and “All Stars” since launching the spin-off with his “We Want OGs” campaign. As a key force and producer of the hit spinoff, he’s already teasing ideas for “All Stars 6.”
In a post on X, Long floated the idea of an “All Stars: Exes” edition, asking fans, “If we did an All Stars #EXES edition…who would be some teams you’d like to see???”
He then offered his own pick: “Dunbar and Paula.”
Paula Meronek (“The Real World: Key West”) and Dunbar Merrill (“The Real World: Sydney”) both competed in multiple seasons of “The Challenge,” each securing at least one win. The two had a showmance-turned-falling-out before appearing as teammates on “Battle of the Exes.” Given how long it’s been since they’ve graced reality TV, they’d be a perfect fit for a nostalgia-fueled “All Stars” season.
Fans quickly took to the comments to weigh in on which exes they would like to see return.
GamerVev shared that they want to see “Marie & Robb” back in action, while another fan wants to see the return of “Exes 1” third-place finishers “Ty and Emily.”
Tell us! Which set of exes would you like to see on “The Challenge: All Stars 6”? Let us know in the comments below.
New episodes of “The Challenge: All Stars 5” air Wednesday nights on MTV.
