For beloved Love Island UK couple Alex & Olivia Bowen, the saying “there’s always light at the end of the tunnel” has never felt truer. The “Love Island” alums are celebrating a new chapter as parents of two. The couple who first met on season 2 of the reality series have welcomed their second child, a daughter named Siena Grace.
They shared the joyful news on Instagram, posting adorable family photos that captured Olivia cradling the newborn while giving their 3-year-old son, Abel Jacob “AJ,” a kiss.
Sweet Family Photos Capture Couple’s Joy With Their Newborn
Alex leaned in to kiss AJ’s head and smiled at his wife in another shot. Olivia also shared a solo picture holding both children and posted a close-up of Siena’s blanket embroidered with her name.
“I can’t even find the words other than to say our beautiful girl Siena is here, and we are all bursting with love,” the couple wrote in the caption. “It wasn’t an easy ride but every second worth it a thousand times over. I love my babies.”
The Couple’s Journey After Heartbreaking Twin Loss
The Bowens’ baby joy comes just five months after they revealed they had tragically lost Siena’s twin due to vanishing twin syndrome.

“One of the babies just basically didn’t have a heartbeat. But I’d had no symptoms, I’d had no pain. No bleeding,” Olivia explained. “Absolutely nothing to tell me that that was what we were walking into, and I guess from that moment we were just completely floored.”
She continued, “We were expecting to have these two little babies, but vanishing twin syndrome, that is what happens. They can, as it says, literally just vanish.”
A Family Announcement Filled With Love
The couple first shared they were expecting their second child in February with a heartfelt Instagram video. In the clip, Olivia surprised Alex by showing him a positive pregnancy test before their son AJ appeared in a red T-shirt that read “Big Brother 2025.”
The video also included festive family moments under their Christmas tree and clips from throughout the pregnancy. Toward the end, the pair posed on their couch holding a sonogram image while AJ bounced with excitement, set to the song “Sweet Disposition” by The Temper Trap.
They captioned the post, “A moment, a love – baby no2 – we’re waiting for you.”
A Growing Family of Four
