Kim Kardashian has locked down a big name alliance that’s bound to add to her already stratospheric net worth.
The reality star and businesswoman has announced a new partnership between her shapewear company SKIMS and athletic superbrand Nike. Together they will launch NikeSKIMS.
In an Instagram post, SKIMS reveals the collab’s tagline, “Designed to Sculpt; Engineered to Perform.” It also teases the mashup as “a new brand coming this spring for the body obsessed.”
NikeSKIMS Promises to “Disrupt the Industry”
NikeSKIMS comes with some bold promises. In a press release, Nike says the new brand “will disrupt the global fitness and activewear industry with best-in-class innovation in service of all women athletes.*” Scrolling down to the bottom of the news release, the legend for that asterisk says “*If you have a body, you are an athlete.“
Kim Kardashian posted a picture of her new NikeSKIMS ID badge on Instagram without comment. But in the press release, Kardashian says, “Nike and SKIMS share a deep commitment to innovation, inclusivity and pushing boundaries, driven by an unwavering belief in the power of women. This partnership is the culmination of that shared vision, delivering product that is meticulously designed to sculpt and perform for every body. Every single detail has been obsessed over and carefully considered. We’re incredibly excited to unveil our first collection this spring.”
NikeSKIMS Reveals Details of New Product Line
The new brand promises “an extensive line of training apparel, footwear and accessories designed to meet the unique needs and preferences of women athletes around the world.”
Nike says the partnership brings both brands’ strengths to the table. Nike brings a “world-class approach to advanced innovation, sport science and athlete insights.” And SKIMS brings an “obsession for the female form and pioneering pursuit of solutions for every body.”
NikeSKIMS will debut its first collection in the United States at select retail locations and nike.com/NikeSKIMS this spring. NikeSKIMS plans a global expansion in 2026.
New Brand Says It’s All About Girl Power
Nike says the new brand lines up well with its goal of growing its women’s business by “inspiring women and girls around the world to dream big — and enabling them in their pursuit.”
And SKIMS CEO Jen Grede, who co-founded SKIMS with Kim Kardashian, agrees. “This partnership will empower individuals to move with confidence and express themselves authentically, merging SKIMS’ focus on body confidence and self-expression with Nike’s relentless pursuit of athletic excellence.”
New Partnership Bound to Add Value to SKIMS Brand
Before the new partnership was announced, SKIMS was valued at $4 billion according to an article in the Los Angeles Times in May 2024. Since then, SKIMS has launched brick-and-mortar stores across the nation.
SKIMS also recently partnered with The North Face for an outwear line.
