Blac Chyna is giving the world a peek at her most cherished role: mom. The 37-year-old model and businesswoman, born Angela White, surprised fans with a rare carousel of photos featuring her 8-year-old daughter, Dream Kardashian, on Instagram. The duo was seen rocking cozy hoodies and fresh curls as they posed together for a set of playful selfies that quickly lit up social media.
“These are the moments I live for,” Chyna captioned the post. The photos instantly drew a flood of heart emojis from her 16.3 million followers. One user went on to comment, “Dreamy is so beautiful looking just like her mama fr.”
Another one noted, “What I love to see is you are breaking generational curses you have experienced through motherhood. Keep being great God sees it.”
Who Is Dream Kardashian?
Dream, born in November 2016, is Chyna’s only child with Rob Kardashian, the youngest sibling of the Kardashian-Jenner clan. That makes Dream the granddaughter of none other than the iconic Kris Jenner. As well as the niece of Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie. Yes, it’s a family tree that just keeps on growing and comes with its fair share of reality-TV-level fame.
Fans of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and “The Kardashians” have seen Dream pop up here and there, often alongside her cousins True Thompson, Stormi Webster, and Chicago West. Growing up, fans have also seen a glimpse of how close she is with Khloe, at times calling her mamma.
But Chyna herself tends to keep Dream out of the spotlight, which made these new snaps all the more special. But, as expected, it’s not the first time Dream has stolen the show with a little twinning moment. Just this past Halloween, she dressed up as late NBA icon Kobe Bryant in a full Los Angeles Lakers uniform, a look that her dad proudly shared online. “Dreamy bean aka Kobe bean,” Rob wrote at the time.
Chyna has been open about her co-parenting journey with Rob, even after a rocky split years ago. Today, the two are in what she calls a “beautiful, healthy co-parenting relationship.”
Khloé has also been vocal about her bond with Dream, once describing herself as a “third parent” to her niece. “Dream is one of my babies too,” Khloé said on “The Kardashians” in 2023. “I absolutely love being a mom to people. I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
While that comment once sparked drama, Chyna has since said communication with the Kardashians has improved. “I speak to Kim. I speak to Khloé. Me and Rob, we are like this now,” she told People last spring, crossing her fingers to emphasize their closeness.
Dreaming Big
Beyond the occasional matching outfit, Chyna says she sees big things in Dream’s future. “I feel like Dream is going to be a businesswoman and a leader because she has all the elements,” Chyna told Entertainment Tonight late last year. “I’m instilling what she needs now organically by watching me. That’s the best way to learn.”
Dream seems to agree. According to her mom, she’s already mapped out her dream school. “We were driving and she goes, ‘I’m gonna go to UCLA,’” Chyna recalled with a laugh. “She’s going to go very, very, very far.”
For now, though, the elementary schooler is happy just being a kid and playing with her friends and cousins. Of course, she doesn’t miss the opportunity to pose for selfies, plan costumes, and enjoy time with her big extended family.
And if her latest Instagram appearance is any indication, fans can expect that Dream’s rare moments in the spotlight will always come with a touch of heart, style, and plenty of love.
