HGTV Orders 10 New Episodes of High-Rated Series

HGTV fans get excited! The network has officially ordered 10 new episodes of Zillow Gone Wild, according to a press release sent to EntertainmentNOW!

During its inaugural season, “Zillow Gone Wild” featured actor and comedian Jack McBrayer taking viewers inside some of the “weirdest, wackiest and wildest properties on the market.” McBrayer will return for the second season of the show, which is set to air in 2025.

Viewers may recognize McBrayer from his role on “30 Rock.” He played the role of Kenneth Parcell in dozens of episodes from 2006 through 2013.

“We have always loved the Zillow Gone Wild Instagram account and were thrilled to harness what fans love and super serve them both on social and television,” said Betsy Ayala, Interim Head of Content, HGTV. “These outrageous homes delivered an instant hit on screen, and Jack is back to take us inside even more one-of-a-kind properties,” Ayala added.

HGTV Fans Reacted to the News of the Renewal on Social Media

According to the official press release from HGTV, “Zillow Gone Wild” saw some 12.5 million viewers across linear and streaming in its first season. It quickly became the network’s most popular first seasons series of 2024.

Despite its popularity, some fans never saw the show — but vowed to watch after seeing the network’s season 2 announcement on Instagram.

“Wait how did I not know this even existed?!?! Gonna spend my afternoon binging it,” one person wrote.

“I need to watch the first season now,” someone else said.

For fans wanting to catch up on season 1, it can be streamed on Max and discovery+.

HGTV Has Announced the Renewal of Many Shows for 2025

With the new year just around the corner, HGTV has announced the return of some of its popular programs.

For example, “Rock the Block” will return for its sixth season in 2025, and “Help! I Wrecked My House” will air its fifth season. Other renewed shows include “Down Home Fab,” “Married to Real Estate,” “Ugliest House in America,” and “Renovation Aloha.”

The network will also premiere some brand new home renovation and DIY shows, such as “Izzy Does It” starring Israel “Izzy” Battres from “Flip or Flop” fame.

Tarek El Moussa and Christina Hall’s highly anticipated new series “The Flip Off” will also premiere in the new year.

Later on in the year, HGTV fans can tune in to watch designer Alison Victoria take on Las Vegas.
