Everybody loves a good renovation reveal! One particularly striking feature on a recent HGTV “Fixer to Fabulous” reno really caught HGTV fans’ attention though. Check out the beautiful door Dave and Jenny Marrs installed.
‘Fixer to Fabulous’ Fans Fell in Love With a Fabulous Front Door
A January 14 HGTV Instagram post asked fans, “Quick, name your favorite part from the reno on tonight’s #FixterToFab!”
The video gave a glimpse at the home’s brick exterior before moving to the inside space’s renovation, which included a gorgeous fireplace and sleek kitchen, complete with a bar area. The bedrooms and bathroom also got a fabulous makeover.
Fans had plenty to love about the home renovation, but many focused on the striking front door. “Love the door!” one fan wrote. Another shared, “That front door 😍.”
Another person noted, “The front door is gorgeous,” while one fan used fire emojis to express how fabulous the feature is. “The front door is so unique, love the wood,” another wrote.
One fan pointed out how much care goes into the “Fixer to Fabulous” renovations. “I love all of it but the one thing that really draws me to this house is the curb appeal that was added to this house,” they wrote. “The quality of the work that Dave and Jenny add to each home is simply perfection. Their show is like no other on HGTV! Craftsmanship and style. LOVE.IT ❤️.”
Jenny Marrs Said She Could Feel Joy in This House
In a January 15 Instagram post, Jenny Marrs shared images from the home renovation and gave some background about the house, including how she felt joy there.
“The Swearingen family has lived here in Rogers, Arkansas since the 1800’s. This home was built on their family’s land by Scott’s grandpa. His mom and both sisters live just up the street,” she explained in the caption. “This was not just a house renovation. This home is a family legacy — holding generations of memories and laughter. And, we were charged with honoring the legacy while updating the home for Scott, Susie and their daughter.”
Marrs continued, “I know it sounds a little crazy but I can feel when a home has held laughter and happiness (and the opposite is true as well). From the first moment I stepped inside this home, I could feel it: joy.”
She added, “Goodness, my hope is that the joy can now continue for another five generations right here. 🤍”
