Sarah Baeumler and husband Bryan have been a bit missing in action on HGTV lately, but that might be about to change!
While the Baeumlers helped Erin and Ben Napier in their “Hometown Takeover” of Sebring, Florida, viewers haven’t seen Sarah and her husband Bryan in their own series in a while.
But in a new Instagram post, Sarah is giving fans hope of new things to come. The post features a picture looking out to palm trees, white sand and blue water. In the caption, Sarah writes, “The past few weeks have been a whirlwind—hopping from Turks to Exuma to Naples, moving offices (big update coming soon!), and lots of filming in between. With so much happening, I always find myself returning to this place when I need a moment to just press pause. Another adventure is just around the corner, and emotions are running high, but there’s comfort in knowing that with time and some hard work, everything will fall into place.”
Sarah Baeumler Continues to Drop Hints About Next Project
This isn’t the first time Sarah has teased fans about a new project.
While nothing official has been announced by HGTV, we know the couple has been hard at work renovating Pines & Palms Resort in Islamorada. And we know it’s now open. The Instagram account for the resort in the Florida Keys shared that the property celebrated its grand re-opening in mid-March. And more clues, in the resort’s post, it said it will be “featured on HGTV this fall.” The Baeumlers are shown in the center of a group photo. They’re also to the left in the second photo, but aren’t mentioned in the caption.
We also know that the former HGTV Canada, now called Home, will feature a new series called “Building Baeumler.” According to a press release, “‘Building Baeumler’ sees fan-favorites Bryan and Sarah Baeumler give viewers an inside look at their lives as they tackle a resort renovation in the Florida Keys, expand their Bahamas property and invest in a new project in the area, and tackle a personal renovation back home in Canada.”
If the show follows the pattern of the past, it will air in Canada before being picked up by HGTV. That’s the case with Bryan Baeumler’s show, “Renovation Resort,” with Scott McGillivray.
Latest Episode of “Hometown Takeover” Features the Baeumlers
Sarah Baeumler teased the latest episode of “Hometown Takeover” in an Instagram post. In it, she writes, “Bryan and I are joining @erinapier and @scotsman.co for an unforgettable transformation on Home Town Takeover! From the stunning makeover of the historic Circle Theatre in Sebring to a surprise home renovation for a deserving woman, it’s a night full of heartwarming moments. Tune in at 8pm ET on @HGTV to see all the magic unfold!”
Sarah gives more detail about the couple’s role in this season of “Hometown Takeover” in another video posted on Instagram. In that post, she writes, “What a thrill to be part of the latest season of Home Town Takeover! We’re grateful to @erinapier and @scotsman.co for inviting us to help revamp the historic Circle Theatre – the entire town of Sebring looks incredible!”
Baeumlers Make Time for Play Time
But It hasn’t been all work and no play for the Baeumlers! Sarah shared photos on Instagram of the family’s “March break.” They headed to Cerula Mar, the resort they renovated in the Bahamas. The family lived there for seven months in 2020 while they transformed the resort for “Renovation Island.”
For their quick return to the island, Sarah wrote, “We enjoyed every minute in the Bahamas with the kids! Soaking up the sun, eating homemade coconut ice cream and taking endless beach walks — it was the perfect weekend with lots of laughs at our home away from home.”
