Nicole Curtis Shares Details About ‘Rehab Addict’ Return
The new season of “Rehab Addict” returns on June 24, and fans are thrilled to see the home renovation show back! Curtis says she’s “still as passionate” as she was when it all started.
On June 19, Curtis took to Instagram to announce the show’s return, teasing, “It’s time, ‘Rehab Addict’ is back!!!!!” In the video, she gives a few spins while holding a door over her head before tossing it into the back of a truck.
“They said I couldn’t do it, they said it would never work. Who does she think she is????” Curtis wrote in the caption.
The HGTV star continued, “Well, I don’t have to think about who I am, I know who I am. The chick that started off in a Ranger Pickup truck, 2 dogs, small child and not more than $100 to my name that cleaned houses, sold garbage finds on the list of Craig, hustled real estate and started saving free houses set for demolition and turned it into this mega-hit globally-recognized show.”
She noted, “So, taking 3 years to build my own production company, develop my own shows and save 2 houses at the same time 1500 miles apart — walk in the park ❤️.”
Curtis added, “Tune-in and see what I’ve been keeping secret and why I’m still as passionate as I was in Season 1 in 2010 ❤️❤️.”
Her excited fans lit up the comments section, with one noting, “Can’t wait, love you and your show!”
Another fan commented, “What I absolutely love about the show is the choice to leave things alone if they are in good shape and not tear everything out.”
Nicole Curtis Reveals Moment She Thought, ‘I Need a Change’
On June 4, Curtis shared the wild story of how she came back to HGTV. It all started July 16, 2022, with a trip to Paris.
“That’s how this New Season of ‘Rehab Addict’ came about. After a life-altering experience, 3 weeks of a combo of bed rest & absolute depths of misery, I felt halfway decent,” she wrote in the caption.
Curtis continued, “It was 6 pm in Detroit & I booked a flight to Corfu (departing at 7:30). Long story short, mad dash to airports. Realized I left my wallet at home as I was in the air. Landed in Pars (had a 1 day layover) & in just my ratty running outfit and $100 decided to make the most of it. I ran the Eiffel Tower, biked the Champs Elysees’, took myself to a fancy dinner (after a Western union from Josh) and BOUGHT a house in Wyoming.”
She noted, “Couldn’t make that up, if I tried … Call it whatever you want, just one of those moments where I thought, ‘I need a change.’ The rest is history🥳.”
Curtis added, “Big love to everyone who followed along. Is has been a journey and these episodes are all mine. You ready?”
