Things are looking up for longtime HGTV star Page Turner, who will take over for Hilary Farr on the new season of “Love It Or List It,” premiering on April 21, 2025.
In addition to her new role on the iconic show, Page revealed during her April 15 appearance on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” that she also has a “new man.” Fans were thrilled to get a romance update from the designer, who co-starred with her ex on “Flip or Flop Nashville” for two seasons before hosting “Fix My Flip.”
Page Turner Revealed Her New Romance While Jokingly Swooning Over ‘Mufasa’ Actor Aaron Pierre
Turner’s admission about being in a new relationship came as Hudson teased her about getting to meet hunky actor Aaron Pierre, who had the starring role in Disney’s 2024 live action “Mufasa: The Lion King.”
As Turner demonstrated some DIY spring crafts on the talk show, Hudson said, “Did you show this to Aaron Pierre? Because I heard you met him at the Black American Film Festival?”
“Who’s that, Mufasa?” Turner teased as members of the audience squealed with delight.
“Yes, Mufasa!” Hudson replied, and she and Turner danced in unison for a moment.
“Oh sorry, I lost myself,” Turner joked. “Um, I didn’t know whether to call him Aaron or Mufasa, to tell you the truth. And he’s so tall. I had a whole hot flash.”
Laughing, Hudson walked away and Turner said, “Wait, Jennifer! Don’t leave! Ok, I’m having a hot flash again.”
She then turned to the audience and exclaimed, “I have a man now, so I shouldn’t have told all of my inside secrets. I have a man now!”
Nevertheless, she whipped the crowd into a frenzy when she told Hudson that when she met Pierre, her girlfriend asked him whether he watched Turner’s show on HGTV, and he responded, “No, but I will now!”
Fans Thrilled to See Page Turner’s Love Life on the Upswing, Seemingly With Sports Commentator Mike Hill
When Hudson’s show posted a social media clip of her and Turner’s funny moment of swooning over Pierre, fans and friends flooded the post with comments, thrilled to hear that the interior designer is in love.
One person exclaimed, “Page got a man !!!!!!! 😂🥰❤️” and Turner replied, “Tell ’em bestie, I tried to 😂”
Another quipped, “Ok man now 😍 Mufasa is missing out!”
Someone else demanded, “Who is this man??? That’s what I want to know! 🔥❤️”
Although Turner did not identify her new man on “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” she gave her followers a glimpse of what one called his “anonymous shoulder” when she posted a video from a day on the beach in late March.
Turner tagged FOX Sports and ESPN commentator Mike Hill as the person who photographed her playing in the ocean and wrote, “This joy. This peace. This love…. The world didn’t give it to me .. and FOR SURE can’t take it away!”
Turner and Hill have exchanged sweet notes with each other in their social media comments since then, including on April 3, when he posted a photo of himself by the beach.
In the comments, she wrote, “Sooooo Blessed AND Highly Favored!! 🔥🔥🔥” and Hill replied, “so thankful for those blessings!! Especially the ones I’ve received over the last month or so!! ❤️😍🙏🏾”
In 2018 and 2019, Turner co-starred with her ex, former NFL player DeRon Jenkins, on “Flip or Flop Nashville,” a spinoff of HGTV’s popular “Flip or Flop” series. Before the show’s premiere, Turner told Us Weekly that they’d been together “for a long time” but found they worked better together as business partners rather than romantic partners.
Turner has three daughters from a previous relationship, per Closer Weekly — Zaire, Qai, and Quincy. Hill, meanwhile, has two daughters from a previous marriage, per Page Six. He was married from 2020 to 2022 to “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Cynthia Bailey, the outlet reported.
