HGTV’s Page Turner Shares Mom’s Passing With Emotional Tribute: ‘Love You Forever’

In a touching tribute on June 29, 2025, longtime HGTV star Page Turner revealed that she was with her mom, Patricia Ann Helen Turner, as she took her last breath four days prior in Detroit.

“You were with me when I took my first breath on 4/25/1973,” the new “Love It or List It” star wrote. “It was an honor to be with you Mommy when you took your last on 6/25/2025 at 12:14p.”

“This is quite an unbelievable post & my words are few at the moment,” Turner wrote in the caption of a video montage full of photos and footage of meaningful moments in her mom’s life. It included a pic of her jumping out of a plane at age 75, over which Turner wrote, “SOAR HIGH MAMA!”

Page Turner Says Writing Goodbye Tribute Felt ‘Unbelievable’

In Turner’s post, she thanked her daughters Quincy and Qai at length for staying with their “Nana” around the clock in her final weeks of life.

“I have to thank my babies @quinkybinky & @qaialexandria for their unwavering love & devotion to their Nana Banana last 3 weeks in Detroit,” Turner wrote. “Sleeping next to Nana & only sleeping for 45min at a time, medicine shifts, tending to her every need & so much more wasn’t easy & of course processing that a woman who’s been by our side preparing to take her final rest (& dozens of neighborhood kids 🤣🙏🏽) was rough, but you two have incredible strength & I admire you so much & will be forever grateful.”

Turner jokingly noted that her mom managed to give her one final critique on her new gig as David Visentin’s co-star on HGTV’s long-running “Love It or List It,” which Hilary Farr retired from in 2023.

Turner wrote, “The last episode of Love It or List It my Mom saw a few weeks ago, she said ‘Honey, you’re saying ‘Gonna’ too much’ and I said, ‘ok ok Ma, I’ll watch that – I know what to say, goING not gonna, ING like in kING'” 🙄🤣

“Rest well Mama, you gave us your ALL & I don’t quite know what we’re gonna do without you,” Turner continued. “But I bet you’re already telling a host of angels ‘It’s ING ING like in KING!’ Love you forever Ma. ❤️‍🩹”

With Chopin’s “Nocturne Opus 9 No.2” playing in the background, Turner added, “Thank you for making me listen to Chopin & Mozart on my timeouts 🤣🤣”

Page Turner Has Said Her Mom Endured & Persevered Through Plenty of Struggles

Turner frequently paid tribute to her mom when she was alive, too, in awe of many hard things she courageously endured in her life. In a 2022 Instagram post, Turner said that after her dad died when she was eight years old, her mom carried on and “ensured an amazing and stable childhood that I still love so much ~ I’m so eternally grateful!”

She also revealed her mother was diagnosed at 81 and was “beating breast cancer and healing from a mastectomy at this stage in her life,” marveling at the way “she still sits with grace, style, class and a smile.”

In 2021, Turner shared on Instagram that her mom “authored & published a book in the 80’s way ahead of the self motivation movement called ‘YOU UNLIMITED'” which inspired her to use “PageTurnerUnlimited” as her social media handle.

Turner also celebrated her mom in a 2023 post, listing some of her mom’s accomplishments, writing, “Fought through the worst of childhood trauma, and cared for & protected me without a scratch. Got her BA & Masters degrees in her sixties and started her doctorate. Jumped out of a plane at 75 (she didn’t tell me until after and I was soooo say I’m mad! 🤣🤦🏽‍♀️)!Was diagnosed with cancer & lost a breast at 81. Beat cancers azz at 82.… And celebrated my 50th birthday with me because she’s still here being MY MAMA, and I’m so grateful.”

Within minutes of Turner’s June 29 post about her mom’s passing, condolences from fans and friends had already begun to roll in, including from one who wrote, “Praying for your you, your baby girls and family. How blessed you are to have been given the most amazing mommy. Now you’re blessed with angel. Sending you love, light and God’s peace. 🤍”
