Fans React to Nicole Curtis’ Decision to Postpone ‘Rehab Addict’ Episodes

The final two episodes of the new season of HGTV‘s “Rehab Addict” have been postponed until fall. The season premiered in June, and four episodes were set to air, but star Nicole Curtis decided to take a break and push the episodes. Most of her fans are understanding of the move and support Curtis’ decision.

Nicole Curtis Explains Why ‘Rehab Addict’ Final Episodes Were Postponed

On July 8, Curtis took to Instagram to explain why the third and fourth episodes of “Rehab Addict” were pulled from the schedule. She decided to move them to the fall, but she has a good reason for her decision.

“First, THANK YOU for making ‘Rehab Addict’ a number one rated show, again. You came out and shocked the heck out of all of us with the numbers ❤️❤️ if you missed the first two, watch them now streaming or don’t worry, I’m bringing those back along with the other new ones,” she shared in the caption.

The HGTV star continued, “Second, here’s what is going on … I made the executive decision to shelf the rest of our new shows until Fall. I appreciate your support and understanding for the late notice. It’s just a lot of hours (my hours) to get a show on air and we (my family +me) thought — why are we giving up Summer when we have the ability to do this in the Fall ?”

She gave a shoutout to the network, noting, “Thank you to the powers at be at HGTV that were receptive to our idea.”

Curtis further explained, “Third, without a doubt, I, truly, am beyond happy with this decision as I just spent the day with a phone that was dead and had no worries about it 😀”

She wrapped up the explanation with a bit of fun. “They are airing ‘Lottery Dream Home’ in my place. Fun fact, David Bromstead was my pregnancy beach buddy as we were filming and living next to each other in Gulf Shores Alabama for ‘Beach Flip’ (they just added those episodes to HboMax and Discovery+),” Curtis wrote.

The “Rehab Addict” star added, “So, don’t be spreading rumors that he replaced me — I chose it ❤️.”

Most of Curtis’ fans were understanding about postponing the remaining episodes, offering up supportive messages in the comments section.

“Prioritizing precious time with your family and still giving us quality content! A queen who can juggle it all!” one fan wrote. Another noted, “Totally agree! She’s definitely worth the wait to me.”

Other fans praised the choice, with comments including, “It’s healthy to put yourself first!! So excited for the rest of the season!!,” “Love this! Enjoy the summer!,” and “Don’t blame ya a bit, time with family is irreplaceable.”

When one fan asked if there might be more episodes coming in the fall beyond the final two of the season, Curtis responded, “I mean, I’m a little tricky like that, so I might throw in a few extra.”
