Nicole Curtis Shares Return to HGTV Was ‘Such a Long Journey’
On May 28, Curtis took to Instagram (in a since-deleted post) to share her reaction to returning to HGTV after such a long absence.
Alongside a candid selfie photo of her wearing gloves and standing on a roof, she shared in the caption, “I took this pic the moment I got off the call.”
Curtis noted, “I was at the 14 mile house cleaning gutters. It’s been such a long journey and one that drove me to the brink more times than not. I’m not one to pray for things like ‘sell the show,’ but more like, ‘God, show me the way and I’ll follow.'”
She added, “Thank you for sticking with me … REHAB ADDICT is back ON HGTV ❤️❤️❤️.”
‘Rehab Addict’ Returns With a New Season in June 2025
In a May 28 Facebook post, Curtis shared the HGTV account’s announcement about her return, writing, “Well, the cat is out of the bag.”
HGTV shared the show announcement on their social media accounts:
“Nicole Curtis is back with a brand new season of #RehabAddict! This time around, though, there’s a twist: she’ll be crisscrossing the country, reviving forgotten historic homes with her signature flair in both Detroit *and* Wyoming!! Don’t miss the season premiere on Tuesday, June 24 at 9|8!”
Fans lit up the comments with notes of congratulations and excitement about her return, including, “Love ‘Rehab Addict’! This is awesome news!, “This is so exciting!!!,” and “I love ‘Rehab Addict’ and Nicole is great!!!!”
Other fans shared how much they loved the show and her beautiful house restorations in the past. “I can’t wait!” one fan remarked. “Loved seeing all the beautiful houses come back alive!!!”
