Jonathan Scott has an important question for Zooey Deschanel on Valentine’s Day. He shared the hilarious way he asked his fiancée, but her cats almost destroyed his valentine.
Jonathan Scott’s Sense of Humor Shines Through in Valentine’s Day Video
On February 14, Scott shared a Valentine’s Day video on Instagram with the caption, “I’ll take a yes any way I can get it, @zooeydeschanel 😻.”
The video shows Scott writing, “Zooey, will you be my valentine?” He draws two checkboxes for the answers — each of which says ‘Yes.’ He doesn’t give an option for ‘No.’
Then the HGTV star slides the paper under a door with a sign reading “Pets Inside. Please do not let them out.” The sound of cats comes from the other side of the door. When the paper shoots back under the door to Scott, both ‘Yes’ boxes are checked, but the cats ripped up the paper quite a bit.
Fans couldn’t get enough of Scott’s funny spin on the holiday. “Maybe you should give valentines to the kitties too!❤️” one person commented.

The “New Girl” star also took to Instagram on Valentine’s Day to shout out her sweetheart, posting two photos of them together. In one pic, they stand side-by-side looking at the camera as she wears a black dress and he sports a black suit. In the second photo, she stands alone to pose for the camera, but Scott is captured in the background admiring her.
“I got the best one!!!” she wrote in the caption. “Happy Valentine’s Day to my dreamboat @jonathanscott who is practically perfect in every way. 😍”
Scott responded, “I think YOU’re the best one. Lucky me 😍.”
Deschanel’s fans loved the Valentine’s Day post, leaving comments including, “I love you 2 together🌹❤️🌹,” Wonderful couple ❤️❤️❤️😍,” and “Y’all R Just Stunning ❤️🔥.”
