On March 24, Deschanel took to Instagram to share some photos from their fun weekend. “Weekend of incredible theater ❤️,” she captioned the pics.
The couple smiled for a couple of selfies as Deschanel held up the playbills for two different shows: “Ghosts” and “Purpose.” They also posed with LaTanya Richardson Jackson, one of the stars of “Purpose.”
Fans flooded the post with comments, including, “My favorite celebrity couple. Zooey is the best. I’m biased as I am a longtime fan” and “There is no more beautiful couple!”

Jonathan Scott Is Rebuilding Zooey Deschanel’s Childhood Home
Scott is busy rebuilding Deschanel’s childhood home that burned in the Los Angeles wildfires.
During a February 23 interview with “Entertainment Tonight” on the SAG Awards red carpet, he shared how he’s making good on his promise to restore the home.
“I think it’s important for people to know not to listen to a lot of the rhetoric online. The rebuild is happening,” the HGTV star said. “In fact, it’s moving faster than anticipated. The county and the city are doing so much work to make sure people can get home.”
When the interviewer noted, “You have said you’re going to do everything remotely possible to rebuild her childhood home,” Scott gave an update on the timeline.
“Within two weeks, I’ll have the plans reworked and ready to go,” he explained.
The “Property Brothers” star also shared how the fire was “a very confusing time.”
“You know, where her parents’ house was in the Palisades, 20% of the folks who lived in the Palisades are seniors, did not have insurance and it’s a real struggle,” he explained. “So we want to make sure that people are taken care of and that’s the first thing we’re going to do. We’re going to make sure the information gets to them.”
