HGTV star and New Kid on the Block Jonathan Knight is known for his love of old farmhouses, his musical talent, and until now, his full head of dark hair.
But after getting the news that HGTV wasn’t renewing his show “Farmhouse Fixer” for a fourth season, and wrapping up the first round of New Kids on the Block’s Las Vegas residency, it seems the singer and designer was ready for some big changes.
Jonathan has put up several posts on Instagram of his Eastern European vacation in Croatia, including one that shows a video of him in the ocean, sporting a dramatically shorter haircut.
The video is set to the music of the James Bond theme. It shows Jonathan holding on to a motorized propeller as he slices through the blue water. There’s no caption and no explanation.
But Jonathan’s very next Instagram post shows video and pictures tagged Korčula, Croatia.
That post also has no caption. But the third post in the series shows more pictures from Croatia- including one that appears to be taken aboard a yacht.
It includes the caption, “Recharge batteries ✅ Enjoy some time with Harley and friends ✅ Experience new corners of the world ✅ An amazing journey is soon to end and time to devote my energy back into the farm. Looking forward to getting my hands back in the soil and my feet on solid ground.”
Jonathan Knight Gave Fans Better Glimpse of Haircut on Instagram Story
56-year-old Jonathan Knight gave fans an even better look at his closely cropped hair on his Instagram Stories. Yahoo News put up a screenshot of Jonathan with much shorter hair than he had during “New Kids On the Block: The Right Stuff Las Vegas Residency“ at the Park MGM.
The three-week residency was a first for the band, but it won’t be the last.
The New Kids on the Block will return to Las Vegas for the second leg of their residency November 1-15. They’ll circle back a third time February 14-26, 2026.

Jonathan Knight Has an Idea for a New Show
So what will Knight do between now and November, since he won’t be filming “Farmhouse Fixer?”
Knight says he has an idea for a new show that he thinks fans would love.
He told Country Living that right now, he’s interested in taking a break from television. But in the future he’d like to launch a show about gardening.
“I’ve always urged the people at HGTV to bring the garden aspect back to HGTV,” he said. “They say the garden shows don’t do well, but I think if there was a really good one, it would do well. People nowadays don’t garden like they used to, but I have a few ideas I’m pitching that will be more farm-based, so we’ll see where that goes.”
