Joanna Gaines Gives Tour of Hoda Kotb’s Stunning ‘Mini Reni’ Office

Joanna Gaines and Hoda Kotb teamed up for an office makeover for the former HGTV star’s show “Mini Reni.” Gaines showed off the final office space, which includes special touches that took it from sterile and boring to gorgeous and inviting.

Gaines helped Kotb with her office space for the season finale of “Mini Reni.” Kotb had contacted the designer to make over an office for her new company, Joy 101.

On July 12, Gaines took to Instagram to give a tour of the beautifully renovated space. “I wanted to walk you through Hoda’s space,” she said in the video. “We just finished the reveal. Hoda is such a breath of fresh air. She’s so joyful, she’s just so fun.”

Gaines started with the main entry space, which included a long couch and the words “Built with hope, made for joy.” She explained, “The first moment when we walked in, it was white, gray carpet, black rubber molding.”

The Magnolia empire owner continued, “And now you walk in and you hopefully feel this sense of home, this soft landing. I wanted to put her favorite phrase up on the wall. This is the waiting area. Her three words [for the design] were light, bright, and white, and I feel like you see that in this space.”

Gaines continued the tour, showing the four offices with antique doors she got from Portugal, noting how she added them “because the space was lacking character” and “lacking story.” She explained, “So I just love that now these really anchor the space.”

She also installed reclaimed ceiling tins and a propagation wall of plants as a reminder “that growth is always a good thing.”

Gaines also showed off a conference room with beautiful crown molding, a cork wall, a wood meeting table, comfortable white chairs, and a cute coffee bar. “All of the magic is going to happen in this space,” she explained.

Finally, she revealed Kotb’s office included “a really dramatic light fixture” and “special touches,” such as her kids’ handprints and a shadow box of special items from her daughters.
