Jenny Marrs Gives Fans a Peek at Her Upcoming Memoir

Jenny Marrs has been hard at work on a project she calls a “labor of love” — her new book! The HGTV star gave the latest update on the memoir, sharing that it’s in the final stages of the process.

Coming Soon: Jenny Marrs’ New Memoir

On April 9, Marrs took to Instagram Stories to share an update about her memoir and gave the tiniest peek at her big project.

The HGTV star gave the pages a quick flip, beginning with a look at the title: “Trust God, Love People.”

She shared some details in the video clip, writing: “I can’t flip pages casually while holding a phone. BUT I had to share. One step closer to sending this true labor of love off to the printer!! (Working through my very last round of edits. The layout work is done and it’s starting to feel like a REAL BOOK).”

While it was hard to get a good look, Marrs paused so fans could see that she will share the story of daughter Sylvie’s adoption.

She also briefly paused on the introduction, titled “Called to Trust.”

What Is ‘Trust God, Love People’ About?

The Penguin Random House website provided more details about Marrs’ memoir, which has an October 7, 2025 publication date.

“In this inspirational memoir, the beloved co-host of HGTV’s ‘Fixer to Fabulous’ asks: When you look back at the stories of your life, where do you see the markers of God’s faithfulness?” the description explained.

It continued, “For Jenny Marrs, looking at all the ways God has shown up in her life, she’s left with immense gratitude for a God who is always, ever faithful. But even as she trusted that God was leading her where she was supposed to go, the big picture was often murky and unknown, the path ahead blocked by obstacles and opposition, the daily experience filled with waiting and expectation.”

“In ‘Trust God, Love People,’ Jenny opens wide the doors to her life and her family’s home to share the stories of how taking little steps of faith have added up to an unexpected and abundant life,” the description noted.

Fans will get the scoop on her move to Bentonville, Arkansas, how she met her husband Dave, and their experience raising a family.

“In the moments when Jenny feels fearful, worn out, or dejected, she has seen God faithful to redeem and restore. ‘Trust God, Love People’ is a guiding principle in Jenny’s life, and is a reminder to us all that when we place our trust in God, He will be ever faithful, and we can respond by loving the people He has put into our lives,” the description noted.
