On February 28, Marrs took to Instagram to answer some questions she said she’s been asked a lot lately.
“I’ve received a few questions this week several times so I thought I’d share a little Friday morning Q & A ☺️,” Marrs noted.
In response to whether or not season 6 is over, she shared, “Nope — we still have six all-new episodes! (Airing Tuesday nights at 8/7c on HGTV).”
She also addressed an “issue” with the February 25 episode. “I know there was an issue with this week’s episode not recording on some DVR’s,” the HGTV star noted. “There was a blip with some service providers — the network is aware and working to get this resolved.”
Fans were also interested in finding out how long it takes them to film a season. Marrs shared that they’re already at work on season 7 after wrapping season 6 recently.
“Last year, we started filming in early April and wrapped this February,” she wrote. “We will start working on the next season this coming Monday 🙌 and will work through the end of the year.”
The “Fixer to Fabulous” star said she always gets asked about paint colors and reminded fans that her website gives all the details for every episode.
“Each week, I share an episode guide with before & after photos and details on the renovation including sources and paint colors,” she explained. “You can find them all on daveandjennymarrs.com ☺️.”
Marrs then asked if there were other questions, wondering, “Maybe we should do this every Friday?!”
Fans Have Home Renovation Questions for Jenny Marrs
Fans lit up the comments section with their home renovation questions, so perhaps Marrs will make a Q&A post every week.
“I’ve always been curious why people want the main sink or stove top in their island. Don’t dirty dishes end up messing up the island and isn’t a stove top dangerous particularly if children are in the household?” one person asked.
Another commented, “What’s a good neutral color LVP wide plank to use throughout your home? The choices are overwhelming!!!”
One fan voted yes for the weekly Q&A, asking, “What happens with all the staging things in the homes? Do the homeowners buy all at a cost or do they get an option of picking things out?”
