Jenny Marrs is thanking fans for the “outpouring of love” following the recent loss of their family dog, Dolly. The HGTV star shared the sad news with her followers, and so many people offered their kind words and condolences.
Jenny Marrs Thanks Fans After Dog’s Passing
On July 25, Marrs took to Instagram to share more photos of Dolly and convey her gratitude.
“Thank you all for the kind words and outpouring of love. Our farm feels empty without our Dolly girl and we are all so, so sad,” she wrote in the caption.
Marrs continued, “Every dog owner knows how much our four legged babies mean to us. Thank you for loving our girl along with us all these years. From living in a kennel to becoming a beloved TV pup and gracing the pages of my book … Dolly’s life is proof that it doesn’t matter where you came from, you are worthy of love and you can make an big impact on so many hearts.”
She added, “We’ll always miss our girl and we’ll always be thankful for the beautiful years we had together. She loved us so well.”
The HGTV star included a quote from writer Agnes Sligh Turnbull: “Dog’s lives are too short. Their only fault, really.”
Fans shared more kind words for the Marrs family, with one person commenting, “I firmly believe that when we cross over to the house our Lord has waiting for us, the first ones to greet us will be our pets. Sending hugs.”

Dave & Jenny Marrs Shared the News of Their Family’s Sad Loss
On July 24, Dave and Jenny Marrs each shared a tribute to their dog after her passing.
“Today we had to say goodbye to our sweet Dolly. She’s been my little sidekick since we rescued her 10 years ago,” Dave wrote.
He continued, “She never missed a moment to lay in the shop when I was working; never missed a moment to snuggle up when we had a hard day; never missed one of the kids made up plays, or snow days; she just never missed anything. She was always there.”
The HGTV star added, “She has graced us with so much joy over the last ten years. I’m going to miss her so so much. Love you Dolly girl.”
Jenny commented, “We will always love you, Dolly Sue. The farm feels empty without you here.”
