Heather El Moussa Explains Delay As Fans Wait for One More Episode

Fans of HGTV’s “The Flipping El Moussas” were excited when Heather Rae El Moussa made a surprise announcement that this season still had one more episode to come.

But nearly a month later, viewers are still waiting to see it.

And now Heather El Moussa can explain why.

Originally, viewers thought the season ended with the March 13 episode. But in her Instagram stories on March 19, Heather told fans the couple had returned to filming, saying, “I’m in glam. The team is back together. We’re filming for ‘The Flipping El Moussas’ today. It’s been a while. We have one more episode that’s going to be coming out, you guys. I don’t know when. I’ll announce it soon, as soon as I hear.”

But instead of a date, fans are getting a video. In a new post on her Instagram account, Heather lets the video speak for itself as Tarek goofs off, mugs for the camera, says, “I have no idea what’s going on right now” and talks about his body-building routine. Heather’s only caption for the video is, “This is why the last episode of Flipping El Moussas is taking so long…😅😂”

Heather El Moussa Explains the Reason for the Extra Episode

While we may not have an air date yet, we do know why the season still has an episode to come.

It seems that one of the El Moussa’s homes has been a work in progress, so the show circled back to do an update.

In another Instagram post, Heather took fans behind-the-scenes of the flip. In the clip, she said, “We’re back filming The Flipping El Moussas to finish off the season for you guys,” confirming that the new episode will still be part of Season 2 when it airs. Heather admitted the flip was “taking longer than expected.”

In another video, Tarek explained the cause of the delays saying, “It’s one of the very last shoot days for Season 2 of The Flipping El Moussas. This house is a little bit behind because of permit delays, but in about two weeks, this sucker will be done, it will be listed. It is the final house of the season. We’re going to sell it over asking and we’re going to Disneyland.”

Two Weeks? No. Disneyland? Yes

Tarek’s two-weeks to done estimate may’ve been a little too optimistic, but his Disneyland prediction was spot on.

Both Tarek and Heather’s Instagram accounts are full of posts of their trip. In one, Heather writes, “If you can’t tell… we love Disney! It was an easy answer when deciding what to do for Bray’s spring break! @visitanaheim is always the way to go.”

In another post, Heather tells fans that “Visit Anaheim” set them up with a private tour of the park.
