The new year has already authored a few life-changing events for former HGTV star Sabrina Soto.Â
On January 27, Soto posted on Instagram that she had become engaged. Although she did not identify her fiancé, several of the commenters referred to him as Nate, while Soto simply called him, “the most unexpected surprise of my life.”
Then on February 25, Soto revealed that her “passion project” had become a reality. In a post also shared by The Design Network, Soto announced that “The Sabrina Soto Show” will premiere March 17 on The Design Network. In a video included with the post, Soto said she hopes the show – which will also be available on Samsung TV+, Hulu, DirecTV, Fubo, Amazon, Sling, Dish, XUMO and more – will provide people with the tools to make improvements in all aspects of their lives.
“I have spent my life on TV helping people create spaces with beautiful outcomes. But my real passion is redesigning life, embracing the little shifts that really create the life that you love,” Soto said. “Join me with a lineup of incredible experts, as we inspire you to redesign your life, one small change at a time.”Â

In the caption written with the post, Soto gave a hint into how much she has put into this project, and how much she will continue to give it moving forward.Â
“After 10 years of dreaming and hard work, I’m overjoyed to finally share my passion project with you all—The Sabrina Soto Show,” Soto wrote. “This series has been a labor of love, bringing together incredible experts in design, beauty, food, wellness and mindfulness. Every episode is a piece of my heart and my hope is that the life-changing advice and genuine insights will inspire you to redesign your life. Thank you for joining me on this incredible journey!”Â
Soto’s announcement spurred a bevy of positive responses, including a few of from members of the TV designing family. Jasmine Roth of HGTV’s “Help! I Wrecked My House” posted several clapping hands emojis, and Ty Pennington stated, “Woo hoo!!! Congrats my friend 🙌❤️” Former “Trading Spaces” alum Vern Yip said, “EPIC!!! The show everyone has been waiting for! Counting the days! 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️🙌🙌🙌” Â

A release on Soto’s own website stated that every episode of her show will be “packed with engaging conversations, hands-on demos, and incredible guest appearances.” Soto said that “renowned experts” such as Lewis Howes, Dr. Youn, Danny Morel, Jason Momoa, Michael Beckwith and Iliza Shlesinger will stop by to discuss a variety of topics including personal growth, relationships, health and beauty.
“Beyond just a talk show, this series is an immersive experience that blends Sabrina’s signature design aesthetic with heartfelt storytelling and actionable takeaways,” the release stated. “Think of it as your personal guide to creating a life you truly love—one that’s stylish, balanced, and full of intention.”
Soto has been involved with a multitude of TV projects over the years. She served as either the host or a designer on several HGTV shows, including “The High Low Project,” “Design Star,” “Real Estate Intervention,” and “Get It Sold.” Additionally, Soto hosted a few of the HGTV’s first “White House Christmas” specials beginning in 2007, and she also was a cast member of TLC’s “Trading Spaces.” Most recently, Soto served as a judge on ABC’s “The Great Christmas Light Fight!” and hosted CBS’s “Secret Celebrity Renovation.”
