Erin Napier Shares Uncertain Time She ‘Felt So Unmoored’ and ‘Anxious’

Erin Napier Shares Where She Was 10 Years Ago With Her Career

Erin was at a bit of a crossroads in 2015, uncertain which direction she would go when her first company started to fizzle. HGTV made an offer that changed things drastically.

On February 16, the HGTV star took to Instagram to give a snapshot of what her life was like as she was approaching age 30.

“In 2015 I was turning 30 and the first company I started, Lucky Luxe, was shrinking in the shadow of so many great wedding stationery shops opening online and I felt so unmoored,” she explained in the caption.

Erin continued, “We wanted babies but didn’t have one. I couldn’t see what our future would be, at all. I felt so anxious.”

She explained how one song provided her with an important reminder. “Pandora was playing on my computer and gave me this song by @drewholcombmusic that reminded me Ben and I are the best team,” Erin wrote. “Ben never lost his faith that we were going to be just fine. It became my anthem.”

The “Home Town” star added, “A few months later @lindseyweidhorn said HGTV wanted to talk to us, completely out of the blue. Yesterday we finally got to hug Drew and @ellieholcomb’s necks and those babies I wanted played with theirs all day before the show. Their new album ‘Memory Bank’ is so wonderful. Y’all listen to ‘High Seas’ and thank me later. ❤️”
