Erin Napier had a wonderful adventure in Scotland with her family, but now that they’re back in the States, the HGTV star has some thoughts. Napier quickly gave a rundown on everything from jet lag to toilets, among other musings.
Erin Napier Shares Scotland Trip Recap
On July 18, Napier took to Instagram to share a few photos from their trip to Scotland. She also rattled off a bunch of thoughts about the vacation.
She kicked off her “thoughts after international travel” with an important question: “Can you die from jet lag?”
Napier also wondered, “Is there a reason they don’t have ranch in the UK? I mean, have they tasted it?”
The HGTV star continued, “I wish our drink bottles had those flip tops, AC is really great, and very special,” and “I wish we had no dyes in our food like the UK.”
She noted, “But I wish their laundry soap worked better.”
The “Home Town” star rattled off a few more items: “I didn’t see her but I still think Nessie is real,” “I like our toilets that flush reliably,” and “I like their midges more than our mosquitoes.”
She also shared that their resort “thought of EVERYTHING,” before noting, “It is a long flight across the ocean.”
Napier also reported that “Travel makes your kids flexible and indestructible!”
And finally, she shared a couple of highlights from their visit: “House of Bruar was like a fever dream. IYKYK” and @houseofthenortherngate is my favorite place.”
Fans Loved Seeing Their Scotland Adventures
Fans lit up the comments section of Napier’s post, with one fan noting, “What a wonderful experience for you and your family, welcome home.” Another commenter shared, “Looks like an amazing trip. Glad you made it home safely.”
Another fan said she saw Napier and her family. “I thought I saw you on my flight yesterday! If I wasn’t so exhausted myself, I would have said hello!” they wrote.
Napier responded, “I was feeling like last year’s bird nest.”
Another fan pitched an idea to bring their show to the UK. “So pleased that you all had a good vacation over to the UK,” they commented. “A limited edition UK series of ‘Home Town’ would be amazing if you want to come back … our Victorian brick houses are desperate for some of your magic, though we may need to have a rethink on the concept of small kitchens, entrance halls, inability to knock through walls in an afternoon … could be a fun challenge!”
