Erin Napier Celebrates ‘Home Town’ Milestone as Filming Wraps

HGTV stars Ben and Erin Napier have been working on their show, “Home Town”, for nearly nine years, with the series premiering in January 2016. Now, in a December 17 Instagram post, Erin confirmed that they had finished filming their latest crop of episodes, and that they’ve reached a new “Home Town” milestone.

“130 episodes of #HGTVHomeTown ✅,” Erin wrote in her post, which featured a photo of the couple holding up a cardboard sign reading “130.” “I feel so lucky that my job is to tell happy stories about a place I love with the love of my life at work beside me every day. Feeling so thankful for this production team and the work they do, and wishing I had taken more photos of everyone this year that don’t give away the reveals! That’s a wrap on season 8 part 2, watch it all on [HGTV and streaming on Max] ❤️.”

According to the network, “Home Town” season 8 part 2 begins airing on Sunday, December 29 at 8 p.m. Eastern.

Fans React to ‘Home Town’ Reaching 130 Episodes

Fans took to Erin’s comment section with their reactions to her and Ben’s latest milestone and imminent return. “So happy to see you’ll be back soon. Like old friends coming to visit with awesome stories! 😍,” one fan commented.

“Love this show. You two are so talented, and down to earth. Can’t get enough. Wholesome TV,” a second fan added.

“It all seems like a dream that we never dreamed of dreaming. So very thankful and blessed. 130 episodes is 100 more than I prayed for,” Erin’s mother Karen Rasberry commented.

“We drove thru recently and y’all got Laurel looking precious!” another fan shared.

HGTV Marks Ben & Erin Napier’s ‘Love Week’

In addition to celebrating their show’s return, the Napiers got the chance to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the week they first met in December 2004, which they call “Love Week”. The network shared the couple’s full “Love Week” timeline.

The network’s post is filled with pictures of Ben and Erin from their college years and recounts the story of their meeting when Erin profiled Ben for the school yearbook. On her Instagram page, Erin shared more details about their first “date?” to a nightclub alongside all their drunken peers, and the awkward encounter they had at the club with Charlie, a boy whom Erin had been seeing at the time.

Luckily, any awkwardness in their early days together did not hinder the couple from opening up to each other, and the pair have been madly in love since, with Ben still writing Erin a new love letter every morning.
