Erin Napier is about to turn 40 — and she’s keeping things very real. The HGTV star shared a vulnerable selfie ahead of the big day, commenting on her healthy approach to aging.

Erin Napier Asks Fans About Forehead Wrinkles Ahead of 40th Birthday

On August 4, Erin shared a close-up selfie photo of her face on her Instagram Stories, since published by People. She had a very simple question: “Y’all, are we out here caring about forehead wrinkles?”

The HGTV star had her personal answer, but hoped that others were on board. “I’m turning 40 this month and I think … we should all decide we don’t care,” she wrote.

Even though she asked about forehead wrinkles, the “Home Town” star has beautiful, flawless skin.

Her husband, Ben, is definitely smitten. On July 30, he took to Instagram to share a photo of Erin relaxing and soaking up the dog days of summer poolside. Ben’s caption for his stunning wife was simple enough: “Smokeshow.”

How Will Erin Napier Celebrate Her 40th Birthday?

Erin turns 40 on August 30, and fans are standing by to see what Ben has planned to celebrate her big day.

Last year, he tapped into Erin’s love of movies and curated a special birthday gift with all her nostalgic favorites to watch with their two daughters.

“For my birthday, @scotsman.co always finds some way to gift me the ungiftable: time,” Erin wrote in a 2024 Instagram post.

“This year, he gave me time travel to my childhood,” she continued. “For months he’s been secretly buying a massive collection of DVDs. Movies we loved as kids, movies we loved in college, movies we want to watch with our girls. And he secretly had a little movie theatre installed in the basement.”

Erin added, “In the last couple weekends we’ve gotten to travel back to childhood with Helen and Mae in this small way.”

Fans loved the thoughtful gift idea, with one commenting, “Aww, Ben, you come up with great ideas! Erin, enjoy your movies with your beautiful family!”

Another fan wrote, “If all men could be as thoughtful as Ben is at gift giving. You are blessed!”

Ben also posted a birthday message for Erin in 2024, with a jokey twist. “Since it is her birthday, I figured I’d announce to the world that I’ve been in a relationship with my coworker, @erinapier. I can’t hide my love for her anymore,” he wrote in the caption. “Happy birthday, @erinapier!”
