HGTV’s Drew & Jonathan Scott Team With Guy Fieri & Shaquille O’Neal For New Show

Longtime HGTV personalities Drew and Jonathan Scott are all revved up for their brand new show — but they’re not the stars of it. Rather, famed chef Guy Fieri and NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal are the most famous faces to appear on Discovery’s “Truck Dynasty,” premiering on August 12, 2025.

The “Property Brothers” are best known for their home improvement shows and related product lines. But behind the scenes, they’re busy executive producing more than a dozen TV shows through their production company, Scott Brothers Entertainment — some of which they don’t even appear in.

That’s the case with “Truck Dynasty,” which tracks a “larger-than-life family who transform average trucks into the loudest, most coveted, and eye-catching custom creations around,” according to a press release. Fieri and O’Neal both get to help design and test-drive their custom-build trucks on the series.

HGTV’s Drew & Jonathan Scott Have 15 Shows ‘On the Go Right Now’

The Scott brothers do produce their own shows for HGTV, including “Celebrity IOU” and the new “Chasing the West,” due to premiere on July 30. But other HGTV series they’ve produced, per their site, have included “The Great Giveback” starring Melissa McCarthy and Jenna Perusich in 2022 and “The Nate and Jeremiah Home Project,” which ran for two seasons.

“A lot of people know us, obviously, from Property Brothers and the shows, but they don’t realize that we have one of the largest unscripted production companies in the country,” Drew told Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM Radio show on July 18. “It’s been fun for us. We really dive in everything family, celebrity, docu-follow, lifestyle. That’s where we shine. And so, we have 15 series on the go right now.”

In “Truck Dynasty,” the stars are Joe Ghattas and his wife Ashley, who co-own Florida custom truck builder Apocalypse Manufacturing, and their team. Their clients include “hardcore enthusiasts, world-famous rappers, sports superstars, and elite supermodels,” per a press release, and “no design is too wild for them to build.”

For Fieri, they build the “Apocalypse Hellfire with a pull-out mobile kitchen” and for O’Neal, they create the “Apocalypse Super Truck with superhero branding.” “Truck Dynasty” is scheduled to premiere on Discovery on August 12 at 9 p.m. Eastern time.

What Other Shows Do Drew & Jonathan Scott Have in the Works?

In addition to the latest season of “Celebrity IOU,” airing Wednesdays on HGTV, and their new show “Chasing the West,” the Scott brothers continue to develop and produce shows that they will star in, too.

A second season of “Don’t Hate Your House With the Property Brothers” was originally slated to premiere in late July, but has been pushed back to later in the year.

Casting has also begun for a new series called “Top of the Block,” in which “three house-proud homeowners open their doors and go head-to-head to see who will triumph as the best on the block.” The contestants’ neighbors and a design expert will tour and compare each house, ultimately choosing their favorite.
