Giddy up! Fans of longtime HGTV stars Drew and Jonathan Scott got a bit of eye candy in their social media feeds on May 16, 2025, as the twin brothers posted a photo of themselves on horseback to promote their upcoming series, “Chasing the West.”
On their joint Property Brothers account, Drew and Jonathan wrote, “We’re gearing up for the premiere of our brand new show ‘Chasing The West’ this summer! 🤠 Who’s ready to see us back in our cowboy era?”
“Omg me!!” one excited fan replied, and she was not alone in her giddiness over seeing the HGTV hunks in cowboy hats, boots, and denim — ready to help their clients tackle ranch life, much like they did when they were growing up.
Jonathan Scott Says ‘Chasing the West’ Will Be ‘Sexiest New Cowboy Show’ on Television
The photo that the Scott brothers posted was likely a throwback, given that Drew wasn’t sporting any facial hair. But “Chasing the West” is all new — coming to HGTV in the summer of 2025.
Fans swooned over seeing the twins on their horses, with thousands liking and commenting on the post.
“Two amazing cowboys😍🔥👍🤠❤️” one fan wrote, and another chimed in, “Two handsome young men!”
Someone else weighed in, “I love your show and your work! Now, with this country and horse theme, I’m even more of a fan. I’m passionate about horses and always say they are nature’s masterpieces, with their unique textures and colors. That’s why I photograph these incredible animals to create decorative pieces that showcase their beauty. Congratulations on the amazing production! 🙌🙌😍”
“You two are gorgeous,” another fan wrote and quipped, “and Drew and Jonathan aren’t bad either!!❤️❤️”
When the brothers appeared on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” in April, Jonathan said, tongue in cheek, “We’re promoting what is going to be the sexist cowboy show of the year,” adding that he regretted not riding into her set on horseback.
New ‘Property Brothers’ Show Will Take Place Outside of Los Angeles, Where Most of Their Series Are Filmed
HGTV announced the new series, “Chasing the West,” in Februrary, revealing that the Scott brothers would venture outside of the Los Angeles area, where they typically film their popular series, from “Celebrity IOU” to “Brother vs. Brother.” HGTV said they’ll “bring their personal experience to buyers longing for a taste of adventure” in California, Arizona, and Texas.
To help clients who want to trade in city living and give ranching “out west” a try, Drew and Jonathan will tap into their years growing up on a ranch in Canada — a fact few fans know about them — to help families adjust to their new lives.
The families they help will be excited to leave chaotic city life behind, but running a ranch is no walk in the park. So the brothers will help them navigate the “unique challenges of ranch living,” from getting used to the slower pace, taking care of livestock and growing produce.
HGTV has ordered eight episodes of “Catching the West,” which will premiere in the summer of 2025.
