BREAKING: Fans React to HGTV’s Big Announcement on Dave & Jenny Marrs

Fans of HGTV’s hit show “Fixer to Fabulous” got an early Christmas present after months of waiting for news about when the series might return. On December 3, 2024, the network announced that Dave and Jenny Marrs‘ sixth season will premiere on January 7.

The Marrs — whose show chronicles the home renovations they conduct near their farm in Bentonville, Arkansas — told social media followers in June that their show would return in the fall. So fans have been champing at the bit for updates, and are now pumped about “Fixer to Fabulous” returning along with some of the network’s other beloved shows.

Fans Say They’ve ‘Missed’ Seeing ‘Fixer to Fabulous’ on HGTV

According to an Instagram post from HGTV, the sixth season of “Fixer to Fabulous” will feature some of the Marrs’ “most challenging projects yet,” including a 24-hour home transformation that their five kids helped with in August for a St. Jude Children’s Hospital family. Another episode will show how the Marrs conducted a full remodel of a home “wrecked by tornado devastation.”

In the season premiere airing on January 7, per a press release, the Marrs will tackle another huge project when they help a military couple start anew in their outdated home “after years of relocating and an unexpected tragedy.” HGTV said special “design tributes” to honor the family will be incorporated throughout the home.

Season 5 of “Fixer to Fabulous” premiered in November 2023, so fans of the show have waited a whlie for new episodes. Many celebrated the update on social media, including one who wrote on Instagram, “WOOHOO!!!!! Finally, have missed you guys!!”

Another relieved fan commented, “Can’t wait keep checking to make sure that you guys are still coming back🤗”

“Yayy I’m soo ready for the new season,” another wrote. “I missed you guys 🌻”

Fans reacted to the news on Facebook, too, including someone who wrote, “Great show! Dave and Jenny make it interesting and funny. Charming couple.

‘Fixer to Fabulous’ Adds to HGTV’s Big January Lineup

With “Fixer to Fabulous” returning with new episodes in January, HGTV fans will have plenty of favorite shows to watch as 2025 begins.

In November, the network announced that the eighth season of Ben and Erin Napier’s hit show “Home Town” will premiere on December 29 and Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa’s second season of “The Flipping El Moussas” will premiere three days earlier, on December 26.

HGTV has also confirmed multiple other shows will return in early 2025, including season 6 of “Rock the Block,” a second season of “Renovation Aloha,” and the continuation of freshman show “Divided by Design,” but exact premiere dates have not yet been announced.
