HGTV’s Dave & Jenny Marrs’ Daughter Tackles ‘Brave’ Task

Summer is in full swing for Dave and Jenny Marrs‘ family, and they gave fans a look at one of their seasonal farm tasks — harvesting honey. The HGTV stars’ daughter was up for the challenge, even though she endured quite a few bee stings!

Dave & Jenn Marrs’ Daughter Charlotte Helped Harvest Honey

On July 11, Dave took to Instagram to give fans a peek at their work harvesting honey. Their daughter Charlotte was decked out in a beekeeping suit to protect herself while working among the bees.

“It started off foggy, but by about 8am was beautiful and sunny and a perfect day to harvest honey. Charlotte and I took care of the bees, and pulled just a little bit of their honey, because we like to leave them with as much as they need,” he explained in the caption.

Dave continued, “We got everything brought over to the garage and ended up with 32 jars of honey! That girl is amazing! About halfway through harvesting, we got into the Russian bees and away from the Italian and they got angry.”

He noted, “At one point, Charlotte got stung right in the cheek. She didn’t panic, but just said Dad, it hurts a little bit, but let’s get finished up. What a great day with my little girl.”

Jenny commented on the post, noting how “brave” her daughter was during the process. “She got stung 4-5 times and never complained or panicked!” she wrote. “She is such my mini me in so many ways and, yet, her momma would have panicked and screamed. 😂 She’s amazing and so brave and the animal whisperer for sure!”
