Christina Haack is taking another step to remove ex-husband Josh Hall from her life. Amid their ongoing divorce, the HGTV star revealed that she’s in the process of removing another tattoo related to her ex.
Christina Haack Gets 2nd Tattoo Removed Amid Divorce From Josh Hall
On January 21, Haack took to her Instagram Stories to share the process of getting a tattoo removed from her wrist. “4th times a charm (when it comes to tattoo removal). Burns so good,” she wrote in the text accompanying a video of the removal.
She added, “Thank you @jonathanzelkenmd for always taking great care of me.”
In the video, the tattoo laser removal machine is shown in action, removing an infinity symbol from her wrist. The symbol represents the concept of infinity and, since she and Hall split, it’s something she no longer wants on her body.
Hall filed for divorce in July 2024 citing “irreconcilable differences.”
At the end of the clip, Haack, sporting protective glasses, flashes a peace sign.
“The Flip Off” star also had a tattoo on her left ring finger removed recently. She got the tattoo in November 2021, one month after she and Hall were secretly married. “Round 4 of tattoo removal,” she wrote on the Instagram Stories photo she shared in December 2024.
Christina Haack Continues on New HGTV Show Without Josh Hall
Haack and Hall were set to appear alongside her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and his wife Heather Rae El Moussa on HGTV’s new competition series “The Flip Off.” After their split, Hall left the show and Haack continued without him.
“When someone is insecure by you and doesn’t like to watch you win, that really puts a damper on everything,” Haack told ET in November 2024. “I feel like I was not shining as bright, to try to not make him feel emasculated. But who wants to live like that?”
She added, “It was not fun, to be honest. I did not enjoy filming with him, so having split up made this, to be honest, so much easier and so much better in every way.”
Haack shared that they had been having marital issues “for at least a year” or “probably 18 months.”
In a January 2025 interview with Us Weekly, Haack gave some insight into what it was like to work with Hall on the HGTV show. “Josh was very hard to film with,” she said.
Haack continued, “He didn’t get it. He’d always get upset with me, like ‘Oh, my gosh, you did this’ or ‘You did that.’ And I’m like, ‘I’m making a TV show.'”
She added, “Ultimately, it was better that he left after episode one because the show would’ve sucked.”
