Christina Haack Reacts to Ant Anstead’s Tribute to Girlfriend Renée Zellweger

Christina Haack shared her support for ex-husband Ant Anstead and his girlfriend Renée Zellweger after he posted about the actress on social media. The HGTV star’s subtle message spoke volumes about their relationship.

Haack didn’t comment on Anstead’s February 13 Instagram post about Zellweger’s new movie, but she did “like” the post. Her response shows that there are no hard feelings between the exes.

Anstead posted a photo of himself holding a sign that said “Team Jones” and shared the image from girlfriend Zellweger’s newest movie “Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy.”

In the caption, he explained, “This is not a drill … TODAY IS THE DAY!”

Anstead continued, “If you are in the 🇺🇸head over to @peacock and watch the latest (and utterly brilliant) Bridget Jones.”

He added, “It’s incredibly moving and will touch the hearts of Bridget fans deeply! I am in awe of Ren and how she gives herself fully. Sit back and enjoy … x.”

Haack, who shares son Hudson with her ex, was among the thousands of Anstead’s followers who gave the post a “like.”

Christina Haack and Ant Anstead Mended Their Relationship

In a January interview with Us Weekly, Haack shared that she and Anstead were in a better place following her split with her third husband, Josh Hall.

“When Josh and I split up, I hadn’t really talked to Ant in years,” Haack revealed. “The whole time I was with Josh, I would worry [thinking about how] Hudson’s sports [games] are coming up, we’re going to have to be on the field together, how’s Josh going to handle it?”

“[After we broke up] I was dropping Hudson off at Ant’s house, and he gave me a big hug and was like, ‘I’m here for you and I’m so sorry you’re going through this,'” she added. “He said, ‘I feel like Josh is the source of the problem [and why] I couldn’t communicate.’ Now we’re back on track.”

Haack also told Us Weekly that she thought Zellweger was “great,” noting that she’s not as close to her as she is to Heather Rae El Moussa, who is married to Haack’s ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa.

“It’s not like Heather and I, where we spend a lot of time together,” the HGTV star said. “It’s mostly just on the soccer field or at drop-off, but she’s super nice. She loves Hudson, and Hudson loves her. And she and Ant are happy.”
