Christina Haack Regrets Not Having a Prenup With Josh Hall Amid Messy Divorce

Christina Haack, who is currently in the middle of a messy divorce from Josh Hall, says she has one big regret. The HGTV star revealed that she wishes she had signed a prenup — or better yet, never married Hall at all.

Christina Haack Gives Josh Hall Divorce Update

Haack shared her regrets during the February 26 episode of “The Flip Off,” the house flipping challenge that pits the HGTV star against her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and his wife, Heather Rae.

The HGTV designer gave an update when her friend Cassie asked, “What’s going on with the divorce?”

Haack admitted “It’s crazy,” because Hall allegedly keeps requesting large amounts of money in the divorce. “He wants to retire off me,” she said.

She also said she regretted not having a prenup.

“Honestly, if I would’ve really understood the repercussions of all of this, I would’ve gotten a prenup or I never would have married him,” Haack said.

HGTV Star Details ‘Exhausting’ Divorce Experience

Haack also explained in a confessional clip, “While construction is happening at my flip, I had to deal with some real life stuff. I own a home in Tennessee, and for the past couple of years, Josh and I had spent a lot of time there.”

She continued, “With everything going on and the fact that I’m not spending any time there anymore, I decided it was time to get all my stuff out of the house.”

“The Flip Off” star told her friend, “When my parents got to the house, this [quad] was gone. He took it. He thinks all of this is his even though I bought this before the marriage. That’s when I was like, ‘I need to get all of this out of here. He’s just going to steal it all.'”

Hall was making her “offers,” according to Haack. “Especially someone that didn’t have to work for a few years that would take this much advantage of me,” she said of his confusing offers. “Literally, the last offer he made, I thought was asinine. The next one is worse. More money.”

Cassie weighed in, telling Haack, “I just don’t understand when there’s no children involved that you two share. It was a very short marriage … it takes the toll out of you and everything you’re going through.”

Haack noted, “It’s exhausting. I just can’t wait for it to be done, but I don’t think that’s going to happen anytime soon.”
