Christina Haack Toasts Heather Rae El Moussa After Awkward Run-In With Ex Josh Hall

In a scene no one could have predicted a year ago, HGTV star Christina Haack just had an awkward run-in with her ex Josh Hall during a dinner with fellow “The Flip Off” star Heather Rae El Moussa — who’s married to Haack’s first husband Tarek El Moussa. They were accompanied on their outing by Haack’s 14-year-old daughter Taylor, whom she shares with Tarek. Follow that?

It all went down on February 24, 2025, according to an Instagram Story Haack shared that evening from one of her favorite restaurants, Ocean 48, in Newport Beach, California.

Haack posted a Boomerang video of three glasses toasting at her table. Though only her and Taylor’s hands could be seen holding their drinks, the video showed Heather’s face, smiling as they all clinked glasses during their girls’ night out.

Over the video, Haack wrote, “When you’re having a relaxing GNO with @theheatherraeelmoussa and Tay and 🐍 shows up at your spot”

The “Christina on the Coast” star added a pointed excerpt from TLC’s song “Scrubs” over the video, with the lyrics “Always talking ’bout what he wants and just sits on his broke ass.”

Weeks after they began to film “The Flip Off,” a home flipping competition with the El Moussas, Haack and Hall filed for divorce in July 2024 after nearly three years of marriage. Their breakup was featured on the premiere episode of the hit series, which debuted on January 29, and Haack has gone on to compete solo against the El Moussas.

Haack and Hall’s split has been messy, but the exes have kept their distance — until now. Haack and her kids live in her Newport Beach home and Hall lives full-time near Nashville, where they previously filmed two seasons of Haack’s now-defunct HGTV show “Christina in the Country.”

But on February 24, Hall showed up at Ocean 48 for his own dinner with friends. Around the same time Haack posted her Instagram Story, Hall shared a photo of himself in his Instagram Stories, which showed him at a table with six men and one woman.

“Little surf and turf with this crew,” Hall wrote, without mentioning Haack. He added audio from Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” to the photo.

Hall likely knew that a run-in with Haack was possible, given that Ocean 48 has been her go-to spot for years. During their marriage, the former couple posted multiple photos at the upscale seafood restaurant.

Haack still frequently dines there with friends and family, including celebrating Taylor’s 14th birthday in September, according to E! News. In December, she posted a photo from one of her “date nights” with her son 10-year-old Brayden, whom she shares with Tarek.

Though their divorce has not been finalized due to financial disputes, Haack and Hall have moved on in the personal lives. Hall has been dating Tennessee-based model Stephanie Gabrys, while Haack has went public in early February with her new beau, business executive Christopher Larocca.
