Christina Haack Opens Up About Canceled HGTV Show

Christina Haack is breaking her silence on the cancellation of her HGTV show “Christina on the Coast.” Haack appears to be taking it in stride, as she shared in a cheeky Instagram post caption. See what she said about her show being canceled.

Christina Haack Comments on Canceled HGTV Show

Haack’s show “Christina on the Coast” was reportedly canceled by HGTV after six seasons. The network has cut a number of shows, leaving fans disappointed.

She seems to be handling the situation just fine, even mentioning the cancellation in a July 19 Instagram post.

“The Flip Off” star gave a glimpse at how her summer is going so far, with photos including her kids, Taylor, Brayden, and Hudson, as well as images with her boyfriend, Christopher Larocca.

The post’s caption was brief, but Haack definitely made a statement. “Summer so far. Basically just eating and laughing,” she wrote.

The HGTV star added, “Canceled looks good on me … Only kidding only kidding ❤️🤪.”

Haack can add a fun Las Vegas birthday trip with Larocca, her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa, and his wife Heather Rae to her list of summer fun. They took to their Instagram Stories on July 20 to share a few peeks at their Vegas celebration.

Fans Voice Their Disappointment Over HGTV’s Cancellations

Haack got plenty of support from fans in the comments section of her post, as many voiced how disappointed they were to find out “Christina on the Coast” was canceled.

“The 3 best shows on HGTV were ‘Christina on the Coast,’ ‘The Flipping El Moussas,’ and ‘Izzy Does It.’ WTF is HGTV doing?!” one fan asked.

Another person noted, “The only shows I watched. At least they kept ‘The Flip Off.'”

“I’m convinced that you, Tarek, and Heather were carrying HGTV and they made a really crazy/bad decision,” another follower shared.

Another fan noted, “I can’t believe that they canceled all my favorite shows … I’m sure you’ll have bigger and better projects to look forward to.”

Other fans offered ideas for how Haack could bring her design talents elsewhere. “I feel like you have enough support and success to be able to start your own network, and bring all of the people that keep getting canceled to your network,” one person suggested.

Another person called on fans to tag Netflix and encourage them to pick up the canceled HGTV shows. “I don’t care where I watch them, as long as I get to watch my favorite designers bring run-down spaces back to life with inspirational design that fits everyday living,” they wrote. “This type of TV watching is therapeutic for me at the end of a long day at work.”
