HGTV star Christina Haack has accomplished quite a bit in her time with the network, helming hit shows “Flip or Flop”, “Christina on the Coast”, and “Christina in the Country” for years, however even the network’s most seasoned veterans can get starstruck from time to time.
In a December 7 Instagram story, Christina shared her exact feelings as she entered one of the final filming days for her upcoming series, “The Flip Off”, when she wrote, “I’m sooooo excited… I get to work / film with my one and only idol today 👑 !!!!! Can’t wait for you guys to see this new show. ‘The Flip Off’ is 🔥.”
While Christina didn’t confirm the identity of her HGTV idol, her ex-husband and “Flip Off” opponent Tarek El Moussa shared more information about this person’s role in the new competition series in his own December 7 Instagram story. “Today is our last day of filming, but it is a Saturday. It’s all good, so we’re having fun,” Tarek’s wife Heather El Moussa said in the video clip.
“The last room challenge today, and the judge is– Drumroll, honey!” Tarek responded, with the video bleeping out the guest judge’s name when the couple finally reveals it.
When Does ‘The Flip Off’ Air on HGTV?
Fans will have to wait until “The Flip Off” premieres to finally see which network stars will be joining Tarek, Heather, and Christina to judge their flips. The series doesn’t have a confirmed premiere date yet, though in his Instagram story post, Tarek and Heather spilled that the new show was expected to begin airing in early 2025.
“The Flip Off” will see Tarek and Christina, the former couple, face off to see who can buy, flip, and sell a property for the most profit. Heather is set to join her husband, while Christina was meant to be joined by her husband Josh Hall, however his involvement from the series was cut after he filed for divorce shortly after the new series was announced.
‘The Flipping El Moussas’ Returns to HGTV December 26
While fans will have to wait a little longer for “The Flip Off”, Christina can be seen starring in new episodes of “Christina in the Country” Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. Eastern. Tarek and Heather are also set to make their return to the network on Thursday, December 26 at 9 p.m. Eastern, when the new season of “The Flipping El Moussas” begins airing.
The couple confirmed their premiere date in a November 21 Instagram post where Tarek wrote, “Finally we’re back!!! For an all NEW season of The Flipping El Moussas! It will be impossible for all the haters to talk any smack after you see these homes we transformed for season 2!!! They are some of the most gorgeous homes we have ever flipped! We put our heart and soul into this and we think you’re gonna absolutely love it. The stakes are higher than today’s interest rates 😮💨.”
