After months of playing tug-of-war with her ex over the luxury Nashville farmhouse she bought months before they met, longtime HGTV star Christina Haack was ordered to pay a portion of the proceeds to her ex, Josh Hall, The Daily Mail first reported on January 17, 2025.
According to court documents reviewed by EntertainmentNOW, Haack — who has reclaimed her maiden name (pronounced “hawk”) — is free to proceed with the sale of the home and the 23 acres of land it sits on, which Hall had tried to block from happening. But she’s been ordered to give her third husband $150,000 from the sale of the house.
It’s the latest development in Haack and Hall’s messy split, since filing for divorce in July. But if the ruling is bothering Haack, she sure isn’t showing it as she spends time in France developing her new champagne line with her rumored new beau.
Christina Haack Will No Longer Film ‘Christina in the Country’ in Nashville
In October 2024, Haack listed the farmhouse seen on two seasons of “Christina in the Country,” but Hall quickly stepped in and asked the court to block her from doing so. Haack asked that the court deny his request before she had to pull the home’s listing. She also blasted Hall on social media, calling him a “gold digging little biatch.”
By December, the house was back on the market. After a hearing on January 6, the court ordered that once the home is sold, “No later than five days after the close of the escrow, (Haack) is ordered to deposit $150,000 from the sale of the home into (Hall’s) counsel-client trust that is interest-bearing with restricted access.”
A court order filed in September 4 and obtained by EntertainmentNOW, outlined a temporary agreement between the former couple, who married in a secret October 2021 wedding months after meeting. The order granted Haack exclusive use of their home in Newport Beach, California, and an apartment in Nashville. It also allowed for Hall to stay at the six-bedroom, six-bathroom house that’s now for sale whenever rental clients were not present.
During an appearance on SiriusXM’s “The Jeff Lewis Show” on January 10, Haack told Lewis she has no desire to spend more time at the home and that after two seasons of conducting renovations in the area, she won’t be returning to film any more episodes of “Christina in the Country.”
Christina Haack Headed to Paris to Work on New Champagne Line With New Beau as News Broke of Court’s Order

As news broke of the court order on her Nashville home, Haack headed to France, where she’s developing her own line of champagne, she revealed in her Instagram Stories.
In one photo of herself — geotagged with Reims, France, as her location — she smiled as she sat behind glasses of champagne and wrote over the photo, “When making your own champagne you must go to the source…”
In another photo of her signing a poster with bottles of champagne next to her, she wrote, “Been waiting my whole life for this…my champagne line launches fall 2025. More to come… 🚀”
On January 18, she posted photos in her Stories from a luxurious dinner at Cafe Dior in Paris, including one of her smiling at a table for two with Taylor Swift’s song “Paris” as her background music. The lyrics Haack chose to play also appeared in text over the photo: “No I didn’t hear the news ’cause we were somewhere else, stumble down pretend alleyways, cheap wine make-believe it’s champagne, I was taken by the view like we were in Paris.”
Back when Haack first put her Nashville home on the market, she had teased in her Instagram Stories multiple times that she was visiting and considering investing in a vineyard. She argued in court filings reviewed by EntertainmentNOW that her Nashville property was a business investment — not a family home — and that she was ready to sell in order to invest in a new opportunity.
In mid-September, according to People, Haack posted photos in her Instagram Stories of vineyards she was visiting in Napa Valley and wrote, “Think it’s time to get my own vineyard… Love it here.”
According to photos published by the Daily Mail, Haack flew to France with her new beau, Chris Larocca, the president and CEO of Network Connex. They were photographed together at Los Angeles International airport before boarding their plane. People has also confirmed that Haack, 41, and Larocca, 52, are dating.
