Christina Haack‘s new boyfriend got the stamp of approval from her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa. The two couples were spotted together on a double date and Tarek gave an update about meeting Christina’s new guy.
Christina Haack’s New Boyfriend Passes ‘First Round of Interviews’
Christina and her boyfriend Christopher Larocca recently made things Instagram official. On February 5, the HGTV star took to Instagram to share photos of her and Larocca on a private plane. “Some plane flights must be hard posted,” she shared in the caption.
In one of the pics, she sat on her boyfriend’s lap, as they both smiled while holding glasses of champagne. In another image, they posed together outside of the plane.
On February 12, Christina’s ex-husband shared an image of himself and wife Heather Rae seated at Nobu in Newport Beach, California, with Christina and her new man. He captioned the photo, “First round of interviews ✅,” indicating that Larocca had passed the first phase of interrogation.
During a February 2025 game for “Entertainment Tonight,” Christina, Tarek, and Heather Rae interviewed each other — and hinted at meeting Larocca.
Christina asked them, “How would you feel about double dating with me?”
Heather Rae answered, “Oooh … we might have already.”
Tarek noted, “We’ll put him through the screening process.”
Heather Rae agreed, saying, “I think it’s fun because we can pick out their red flags.”
Christina said, “Right? … I agree. We need to identify those and wave them around.”
When asked if she’d be open to getting married again, Christina shared, “Not anytime soon. I don’t know … we’ll see.”
She added, “Maybe in like 30 years … we all know I’m going to eventually, relax!”
Most ‘Flip Off’ Fans Supported the Double Date
Christina, Tarek, and Heather Rae’s fans were loving the double date, sharing in the comments how nice it is to see them all getting along.
“I love that these exes are so close now and can support each other and enjoy each other,” one person commented. “That is awesome for the kids and family.”

Some fans admitted they could “never” go on a double date with their ex and their new spouse, however. “Unpopular opinion here. What a strange dynamic. I could never,” one person wrote, adding a laughing emoji.
