Chip & Joanna Gaines Have Very Different Disney Roller Coaster Experiences

Chip and Joanna Gaines hit up Disney World in February, and it looks like one of them is more of a roller coaster fan than the other. Joanna enjoys the thrill of it all. Chip? Not so much.

Roller coasters aren’t for everyone, for sure. While some people love the excitement of riding a coaster, others find it terrifying and nauseating.

Former HGTV stars Chip and Joanna Gaines definitely aren’t on the same page with roller coasters, as seen in photos Joanna shared in an Instagram post. The couple took their son Crew to Disney World, which proved to be fun for all — except for the thrill rides.

On February 27, Joanna took to Instagram with photographic evidence of how the two ride coasters. “One of us LOVES roller coasters, and one of us does not 🤣 ➡️ @chipgaines,” she wrote in the caption.

In the pics, Joanna is all smiles, throwing her hands in the air and enjoying every minute. The photos of Chip aren’t quite as smiley, however. And in some images, he looks a bit uneasy.

The Gaines Family Has a Blast at Disney World

In a February 27 Instagram post, Joanna shared a video of their Disney vacation. “We surprised Crew with a trip to @waltdisneyworld and we ALL had the very best day,” she noted in the caption. “It’s no wonder they call it the most magical place on earth ✨”

In the video, Crew sports Mickey Mouse ears as the family walks around the parks, taking in the sights and riding the rides. On the family-friendly Slinky Dog Dash roller coaster, Chip extends his arms in the air and smiles.

They also roam around the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge area and Crew is seen waving on rides and giving Mickey Mouse a big hug. The video also shows their view on It’s a Small World and the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train coaster, where Joanna looks to be having the time of her life.

The video ends with a crowd gathered at Magic Kingdom to watch the fireworks display.

Fans loved seeing the Gaines family’s fun Disney vacation, with comments including, “This makes my heart so happy! What a magical trip!” and “Lovely how he waves to all of the characters. Must have been a great day for him.”

One of her followers wondered, “Who had more fun, Crew or Chip?”

Even Disney Parks chimed in with a comment, writing, “Thanks for making new memories with us 🥹🏰✨.”
