HGTV star Brian Patrick Flynn revealed that he and his husband Hollis Smith were officially fathers in April 2024 as they welcomed a daughter, Clover Greer Flynnsmith. The Dream Home 2025 designer took to Instagram with an update on December 2, confirming that baby Clover had officially spoken her first word.
“She just said ‘Dada’ for the first time! She just said ‘Dada’ for the first time! She just said “Dada” for the first time, and now we’re both unwell, in the BEST WAY EVER; and we’re not crying, you’re crying okayyyy?” Flynn captioned the video of his 7-month-old sitting and smiling right into the camera as she kicks her legs and says “Dada.”
Fans React to Baby Clover’s 1st Words
Fans took to Flynn’s comment section with their reactions to his baby’s latest milestone. “Yayyy so sweet! What a beautiful times for you guys. So precious,” one user commented.
“BIG GIRL OMG I CAN’T BELIEVE SHES STARTING TO TALK!!!!!!!!!!!!” another fan wrote.
“It’s the best sound in the world when your baby looks at you and identifies you. We feel like honorary parents and grandparents enjoying the sharing of your precious Clover with all of us. We love that you and Hollis are on Cloud 9 and enjoying each new phase and discovery, just as we are too! Sending ❤️ to the three of you,” a third user shared.
“There is nothing better than our children’s recognition of us! She knows her name for you! I’ll bet you two are in a puddle. Enjoy every second of her ❤️,” a fourth fan added.
Brian Patrick Flynn Took Daughter to Work on Dream Home 2025
While Flynn has been enjoying time at home with baby Clover, he’s also introduced her to his work life, bringing her along work on installing elements into the HGTV Dream Home 2025. Flynn showed off some of Clover’s day on the renovation site in an October 29 post.
“Welcome to HGTV Dream Home 2025 Installation: Part One…also known as my inaugural Bring Your Baby To Work Week. Thanks to my inexplicably amazing team for welcoming her and loving on her so selflessly and genuinely,” Flynn wrote.
Flynn’s post included a montage of video clips from throughout the day, showing his various team members during different parts of the construction and filming process. Clover appeared in good spirits throughout her father’s post, as she got to rest and play with various team members, and even sit in for some photos with her father in the house he designed.
