HGTV star Erin Napier took a moment to address rumors that have been circulating online about her and her husband, Ben. While there have been reports of the couple splitting, Erin confirmed there’s no truth to the divorce gossip.
Erin Napier Clears Up Rumors From ‘Click Bait Articles’
On July 7, Erin took to her Instagram Stories to make it clear that you shouldn’t believe everything you read.
“Can’t believe I even have to say this but NO, the click bait articles that we are splitting up is not real, y’all,” she wrote.
Erin continued, “They are AI generated in India or something and don’t even make any kind of sense.”
She added, “Y’all are smarter than this.”
In a second photo on her Instagram Stories, she added, “And please don’t ask about it in front of our babies. They don’t understand what ‘online fake news’ means and it’s upsetting.”
Erin’s clarification came in response to a fan who commented on her Instagram post earlier that day that featured the couple visiting Scotland.
“Put these rumors to rest. Are you and Ben divorcing?” they asked. Other fans lit up the comments with responses including, “Absolutely not!” and “Never heard that rumor.”

Erin and Ben, who are happily married, shared the secret of their relationship success earlier this year.
“We communicate constantly,” Erin told House Beautiful in a March 2025 interview. “We’re very lucky that we are able to because we’re always together.”
Even when it’s tricky to find time for date nights because of their busy lives, the couple has a perfect workaround. “We love day dates,” Erin shared. “If we get a little free afternoon, we’ll go just the two of us and have lunch somewhere.”
She added, “It’s a great time for connection when the nights are crazy when you have kids.”
Ben also shared how they tackle everything together as a team, both with their HGTV work on “Home Town” and in parenting their two daughters.
“At the end of the day, we love each other and we’re best friends,” Ben said.
He added, “Most of the time, people aren’t out to get you: They’re just out here surviving like the rest of us — especially, especially your spouse. We say the same thing all the time because we’re on the same team and we’re in this together.”
