B.J. Britt is Among More Than 50 Hallmark Channel Stars on Cameo
Britt’s announcement drew swoons from fans and funny responses from some of his Hallmark colleagues.
Walker, who’s currently offering a 50% off deal on his own Cameo videos, quipped, “I know what my wife is getting me for Valentine’s Day!! 😍”
Jonathan Bennett’s husband, Jaymes Vaughan, kidded, “Ooo let me go order mine now!”
Cameo has pulled together a list for Hallmarkies, featuring more than 50 past and present stars who have active accounts. In most cases, customers are asked to provide brief instructions to their chosen actor, relaying what the special occasion is, who the video is for, and what they’d love their message to mention. Stars then record a one or two minute video for a fee and email it, typically within 24 hours.
Among the Hallmark hunks available to record videos during Valentine’s week — with links to their Cameo accounts — are Walker, his “Three Wiser Men and a Boy” co-star and screenwriter Paul Campbell (starting at $65), “When Calls the Heart” star Jack Wagner (starting at $100), “Hannah Swensen Mysteries” star Victor Webster (starting at $55), “Unwrapping Christmas” star Torrance Coombs (starting at $70), Will Kemp (starting at $65), “Private Princess Christmas” star Brendan Penny (starting at $60), “Haul Out the Holly” star Wes Brown (starting at $100), and “The Santa Class” star Benjamin Ayres (starting at $50). True to his word, Britt is in the mix, too, starting at a discounted $50 (usually $89).
Female Hallmark stars with active accounts on Cameo include Ashley Williams, who’s offering 30 Cameo sessions for just $20 each (67% off her usual price), Meghan Ory, Cindy Busby, Autumn Reeser, Catherine Bell, Andrea Brooks, and Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe.
There are multiple Hallmark alums waiting in the wings, too, including Ryan Paevey (starting at $100), Jesse Metcalfe (starting at $129), Paul Greene (starting at $89) and Alicia Witt (starting at $80).
One of Cameo’s Most-Booked Personalities is a Puppet, Thanks to New Rules
Since its launch in 2017, Cameo has been responsible for 8.2 million interactions between fans and celebrities, according to a December 2024 blog post from the app’s team.
For the first several years, Cameo was very strict about which celebrities it allowed on the app. But in 2023, executives beta-tested CameoX, which lets almost anyone create an account and offer messages to customers. That move opened up the app to a whole new world of blossoming celebrities.
“We realized we had missed out on thousands of talented individuals who could have made meaningful contributions to the marketplace,” Cameo CEO Steven Galanis said in the blog post. “We missed SAG-AFTRA actors who had applied before landing breakout roles in hit Netflix shows. We missed emerging artists before releasing chart-topping singles. We missed creators before their viral moments on TikTok. And we missed pro athletes who applied while in college, prior to NIL rule changes that allowed them to monetize their talent. With CameoX, those days are over.”
Now, some of Cameo’s hottest celebrities are not A-list stars. In fact, a puppet named Mona Nanalan’ has been one of Cameo’s most booked talent for months, the article said, completing over $600,000 worth of Cameos since joining in July 2024.
