Since his first Hallmark movie in 2011, “Love Begins,” beloved actor Wes Brown has been paired with some of the network’s top leading ladies, from Rachel Boston in 2019’s “Check Inn at Christmas” to Lacey Chabert in the “Haul Out the Holly” franchise.
But even after appearing in nearly 20 Hallmark movies, there are still actresses Brown has yet to co-star with, he told Swooon on July 19, 2025. When asked which ones he’d love to star with next, three stars were top of mind for the Hallmark hunk.
“I would love to work with Nikki DeLoach,” Brown told the outlet, and then added, “Kimberley Sustad, I’ve never done one with her. Sarah Drew, actually. I know all of the ladies, so it’s just the ones that I haven’t (filmed with). I love them all, so each one that I haven’t is on the list.”
Wes Brown & Nikki DeLoach Just Teamed Up for Christmas in July Promotion
Brown and DeLoach just spent time together in Boston and New York, teaming up to promote Hallmark’s Christmas in July programming slate.
On July 1, they were among the six Hallmark stars who appeared at Fenway Park for the Boston Red Sox game to launch the monthlong slate of holiday films and shows. Brown got to throw out the first pitch while the others cheered him on, and his upcoming “A Newport Christmas” co-star Ginna Claire Mason sang the national anthem.
After the baseball game, Brown and DeLoach headed to New York City for multiple joint interviews about Hallmark’s unscripted show they’re both part of, “Christmas at Sea.”
The four-part series follows fans and 11 stars — including Sustad and Drew, too — aboard the second-ever Hallmark Christmas Cruise in November 2024. All four stars — Brown, DeLoach, Sustad, and Drew — will be aboard the next cruise in November 2025, which sold out in a day. Brown told New York Live the ship has a waiting list of 70,000 fans.
