Hallmark star Tyler Hynes recently shared a special tribute to a special guy in his life and fans thought it was adorable.
Hynes was celebrating the birthday of his dog Rusty, and he gushed over how fans support him in his ongoing adoration for the pup.
Tyler Hynes’ Dog Rusty Turned 5
On March 10, Hynes posted a video on his Instagram page. The video began with some glimpses of Hynes with his dog over the years. Then, the actor added in some of the birthday greetings he received from his fans.
After incorporating a handful of birthday wishes sent to him by his fans, Hynes returned to more highlights of the years he has had with his dog. He included a sweet caption with the post.
“What a wild and lovely thing it is that you all celebrate this man’s birthday along with me,” Hynes began.
He continued, “All the moments you’ve saved over the years and shared yesterday have a way of putting his life in perspective and perspective is the greatest gift of all, so thank you.”
Hynes noted, “Rusty Thanos Apollo Hercules Achilles James if 5 yrs young.”
He closed by revealing, “He farted on my head while sleeping on my pillow last night so…guess I got a gift too.”

Rusty made his debut on Hynes’ Instagram page on May 29, 2020. The actor posted a couple of pictures of the dog as a puppy and quipped, “Coming to steal ur girl ✖️Rusty James 🖤 my boy.”
In the comment section of his birthday tribute post, Hynes also wrote, “Also…Donna Lewis 4 life.” Lewis is the singer of the song Hynes used with his video, “I Love You Always Forever.”
Quite a few fans posted birthday wishes for Rusty on Hynes’ Instagram post, and a few colleagues joined in on the fun.
