Taylor Cole Thanks Hallmark Fans After Year of ‘Unbearable Losses & Heartbreaking Failures’

As 2024 winds to a close, longtime Hallmark star Taylor Cole says the network and its fans were the bright spot in an especially difficult year.

On Christmas Eve, the “A Reason for the Season” star shared her gratitude on social media, writing, “In what felt like a year that was trying to bring me down I’ve honestly gained so much. 😆 Even through unbearable losses and heartbreaking failures, I’ve surrendered to everything I can’t control. 🙌”

From the death of her best friend to challenges trying to become a mom, Cole told fans that though 2024 had been particularly hard, their enthusiasm and kindness kept her going.

Taylor Cole Says She’s Using the ‘Lessons’ She’s Learned in 2024 ‘For Good’

As part of a two-part Instagram post featuring behind-the-scenes videos from Hallmark fan events that Cole attended in 2024, the actress wrote, “Every last one of you filling my heart with love and gratitude from the cruise, to the Hallmark Experience and of course all the fans who watched and supported ‘A Reason for the Season’ are the many reasons I choose to turn the lessons I’ve been gifted and use them for good.”

“YOU kept me going,” she continued. “So thank you for your love and support. We are here for you always but we feel you right here with us too.”

When one fan commented that she was praying for the star in light of whatever she was going through, Cole replied, “oh you are so sweet thank you for your love. I lost my best friend to cancer this year while shooting ‘A Reason For The Season’. Coupled with too many failed attempts trying to get pregnant made it a tough year. Thank you for the love. It will get better.”

Cole, who’s been married to producer Cameron Larson since 2020, lost her best friend, Nicole Marsel in 2024. Marsel died of metastatic breast cancer after the disease she beat in 2020 came back with a vengeance, according to social media posts. In October, Cole shared videos of them together while taking a solo trip to San Diego that they’d originally planned to take together.

Working With Hallmark is ‘Magical,’ Taylor Cole Says

Cole also thanked many people who were involved behind-the-scenes of the Hallmark fan events she attended, from her glam squad to event sponsors. In a post on December 23, she also wrote that Hallmark execs had “out done themselves this year.”

“With a mission to put joy into the world while letting us grateful actors play a role in that connection has been the most fulfilling part of 2024 for me,” she wrote. “This job with hallmark is magical and the chance to meet the hearts that love the warmth and positivity we get to create on screen gives my life a meaningful purpose that I couldn’t imagine living without.”

“A Reason for the Season,” co-starring “When Calls The Heart” hunk Kevin McGarry, is scheduled to make its Hallmark Channel premiere on January 31 at 10 p.m. Eastern time and re-air on Hallmark Mystery on January 5 at 8 p.m. Eastern time.
