The Hallmark Channel’s newest movie, “Sisterhood, Inc.,” premieres on Saturday, February 22, at 8 p.m. Eastern/7 p.m. Central. The movie stars Rachael Leigh Cook, Daniella Monet and Leonidas Gulaptis. Read on to learn all about where it was filmed and the cast involved.
‘Sisterhood, Inc.’ Was Filmed in New York
According to filmmaker Lesley Demetriades’s Instagram post, “Sisterhood, Inc.” was filmed in upstate New York. Based on other posts, filming wrapped in late November 2024.
According to Daily Gazette, some filming locations included Schenectady, Albany and Amsterdam. The movie’s working title was “Like Nobody’s Business.”
Donna Pennell, Schenectady County film commissioner, told Daily Gazette: “We worked closely with the production team to find just the right locations. The community support was tremendous. Everyone was excited to have their Hallmark moment.”
Some specific filming locations include Arthur’s Cafe, 4 Corners Pizza on Altamont Avenue, Mohawk CoWorks in Amsterdam, and more.
This Instagram post was tagged in Albany, where Demetriades commented, “Day one, first setup.”
She also shared a clip of the main actors being interviewed on California Live.
“Our fantastic leads talking about Sisterhood Inc this morning!” she wrote.
Gulaptis posted this selfie with his co-stars, writing, “Next Saturday 22nd. Sisterhood, Inc”
He also commented: “I got to work with some very talented people and had a blast on this film.”
He was tagged in this behind-the-scenes picture.
“That’s a wrap. @rachaelleighcook thank you for being the coolest, sweetest person. What an incredible shoot. More to come 🎬🎥” Gulaptis wrote on November 21.
Moet shared her character’s look on Instagram in this reel. “She’s just a girl!!!!”

Meet the Cast
Hallmark’s synopsis reads: “Corporate exec Megan starts a board of directors to improve her younger sister’s chaotic life and finds romance with a psych professor who uncovers her tough demeanor.”
Leonidas Gulaptis, who plays Dominic, is an Australian actor, writer, and director, according to his bio. He gained massive recognition for his role in the feature film “A Nice Girl Like You,” which was a Top 10 Netflix hit. He was also praised for his role in “Gala & Godfrey,” where he was nominated for “Best Supporting Actor” at the Portsmouth Film Festival, and “The Answer,” where he gained nominations for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor at Oklahoma and Berlin film festivals. He also hosted “Unseen TV” in Australia and appeared in more than 24 commercials.
Rachael Leigh Cook plays Megan. According to her bio, she’s known for her roles in films like “The Baby-Sitters Club,” “She’s All That,” and “Josie and the Pussycats,” as well as TV shows such as “Into the West” and “Perception.” She’s voiced several characters in Robot Chicken and is known as the voice of Tifa Lockhart in the “Final Fantasy” series, starting with “Final Fantasy VII.” In recent years, she’s been featured in a variety of movies on Hallmark.
She grew up in Minnesota, and as a child appeared in national Target ads and on Milk-Bone dog biscuit boxes.
Izzy is played by Daniella Monet Gardner. According to her bio, she gained recognition with roles like Megan Kleinman on “Listen Up,” Rebecca Martin on “Zoey 101,” and Inga Veinshtein in “Nancy Drew.” Her big break came when she played Trina Vega on Nickelodeon’s “Victorious,” and she voiced Mitzi on “Winx Club” for the network.
In addition to acting, she was a host on “AwesomenessTV” and the game show “Paradise Run.” She’s also an entrepreneur, co-founding the vegan beauty brand Kinder Beauty.
